Laboratory Attendant at IITA - International Institute of Tropical Agriculture

Responsibilities
Successful candidate will among other things perform the following duties:

• Assist in general cleaning of laboratory and screen house;
• Assist in washing of glass wares;
• Assist in autoclaving and carry out maintenance of laboratory equipment’s;
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations of the Biotechnology laboratory;
• Assist with photography needs of the laboratory;
• Perform any other function as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualification

• Good O’level certificate with at least Two (2) years relevant experience on laboratory cleanliness and maintenance.

• Be innovative, highly dedicated and have god interpersonal skill.
• Be a team player.
• Be able to work under minimal supervision.
