Laundry Supervisor at Rite Foods Limited

Job Purpose

The Laundry Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the laundry unit to ensure the efficient, timely and quality processing of linens, uniforms, garments, and other laundry items. You will be supervising laundry personnel, maintains operational standards, ensures proper use and maintenance of laundry equipment, and enforces hygiene, safety, and quality control procedures. Also, will be accountable for delivering high-quality laundry services while optimizing resources, controlling costs, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure laundry and dry-cleaning machines are running efficiently.
• Review state of operations in laundry and ensure team is on track to meet daily and weekly goals.
• Supervise the washing and ironing of factory uniforms and towels.
• Supervise the packing and sorting of factory uniforms.
• Manage laundry for staff entitled to laundry services.
• Supervise distribution of factory uniforms.

Qualification

• OND or its equivalent in any relevant discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in similar field.
