    HSEE MANAGER (Ref: 432)

    Responsibilities: 

    The HSE Manager will lead the Core HSE section and be in charge of the following tasks: 

    • Responsible for the reviews of safety plans and procedures
    • Provides and promotes safety training
    • Attends Management Review Meetings to discuss Safety.
    • Reviews and distributes safety reports
    • Makes safety presentation to management
    • Participates in review of FEED documents as required.
    • Provides evaluation and analysis in regards to tenders as required.
    • Responsible for ensuring that safety is incorporated in all designs.
    • Responsible for Design Safety guidelines
    • Evaluation and recommendations in regard to safety plans.
    • Library of safety Standards and Procedures
    • Safety survey of contractor personnel and contractors.
    • Review of all drawings for incorporation of safety into the designs.
    • Participates in pre-qualification and selection of suppliers of safety materials and equipment
    • Participates in Construction Planning and constructability analysis for safety considerations.
    • Participates in safety reviews, HAZOP, etc.
    • Performs Safety Audits
    • Attends pre-construction conferences, briefings and presentations to review safety plans.
    • Collection, logging, tracking and management of all construction safety performances.
    • Coordination of responses to requests for safety procedures from Construction Contractors.
    • Development and implementation of a safety tracking system
    • Provides safety management support during construction
    • Attends periodic meetings with the Construction Contractors, and Construction Review Meetings to discuss safety plans and procedures.
    • Ensures all COMPANY and Government safety regulations are followed during all construction works.
    • Oversight construction Safety management
    • Acceptance inspection criteria for construction safety, and development and implementation of safety plans during commissioning.
    • Assistance and support to COMPANY safety team during commissioning
    • Oversight management of the development and implementation of operational safety.
    • Responsible for Construction Safety Management. 

    Qualification and Experience: 

    • Relevant first, and preferably, further degree level qualifications covering Engineering, then Process / Design Safety and / or Environmental disciplines
    • Minimum industrial experience (years) : 15
    • Preferably Chartered or equivalent status in an Engineering Institution and / or one or more of the relevant Technical HSE disciplines professional bodies
