Vacancy - Account Assistant
Role description
We are seeking for a sharp and detailed Account assistant to support with the daily activities in the Accounts department
Additional key responsibilities include:
» Posting of Retirements/Advances into QuickBooks
» Postings of Consultants Invoices into QuickBooks
» Prepare payment vouchers for Claims/Advances
» Prepare payment vouchers for all consultants' invoices
» Prepare e-payment schedules for approval
» Update of payment register from time to time
» Posting of all payment vouchers into QuickBooks software
» Reconciliation of trial balance items as may be directed by Chief Accountant
» Any other duties as may be assigned
Requirements and expertise:
Successful candidates must have a National Diploma degree in accounting or an Accounting Technician Scheme Certificate (ATS). Candidates must have a minimum of three years working experience in a standard organization or an audit firm. The successful candidate must be able to use Microsoft office tools as well as standard accounting software. The candidate should have the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
