The Teacher Education Specialist will be responsible for coordinating all training activities for the project, focusing on improving instruction for literacy, numeracy and life skills. S/he will lead the development and implementation of the teacher training component of the program, working in close collaboration with the non-formal education advisor and the technical team. One position will be based in Bauchi, one will be based in Gombe.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• At least 5 years' experience in training and/or teaching
• Demonstrated experience developing reading and numeracy curricula
• Demonstrated experience in Training of Trainers (TOT) or similar models
• Bachelor's Degree in Education, or related fields. Master's degree highly preferred
