    Head, HR and Admin

    Summary    
    The successful candidate will originate and lead Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce. In addition, s/he will coordinate implementation of administrative services, policies, and programmes through own departmental and other staff.

    The successful candidate will originate and lead Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce. In addition, s/he will coordinate implementation of administrative services, policies, and programmes through own departmental and other staff.

    Technical Requirements    
    The successful candidate will originate and lead Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce. In addition, s/he will coordinate implementation of administrative services, policies, and programmes through own departmental and other staff. Will be required to always collate and analyze all performance-related data for the organization to determine how corporate performance can improve Guide and manage the overall provision of Human Resources services, policies, and programmes Carry out responsibilities in these functional areas: departmental development, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, organizational development, and employment Engage in periodic training sessions and ensure that corporate policies conform to regulatory guidelines Ensure productivity and efficiency of employees Discuss people strategy with the executive management, make recommendations and provide expert guidance on industry practices Manage the general administration of the organisation by way of providing expertise in various matters related to the administration; Develop appropriate policies and procedures that will enable the administrative function to operate smoothly; Monitor and guide the Administrative Officers to effectively carry out the administration, property management/maintenance, preparation of budget, procurement of office materials, etc. Ensure effective coordination of various activities of the organization as and when required. Attend to any other tasks assigned by the superiors.

    Educational Qualifications    
    Candidate must have a first degree and a master's degree in any of the Social Sciences/or equivalent, preferably Public Administration. S/he must have a professional qualification in Human Resources such as CIPM/CIPD/SHRM. In addition, candidate must have minimum of 15 years relevant experience to the job objectives, of which at least 10 must be in rendering related services in a large utility company, FMCG, bank or oil & gas company, with not less than 5 years in a senior management position Must be proficient with the computer, with special emphasis on project management – Microsoft Excel and Power Point presentation skills Ability to implement an enterprise-wide Human Resource Manager software Must have demonstrated leadership skill and established skill in written and oral communications.
