Job Description
Our client, growing in the courier industry with multiple locations across Nigeria is seeking for a suitable candidate for the position of an Internal Auditor. The Internal Auditor is expected to provide an independent and objective assessment of the effectiveness and efficiency of a company’s operations, specifically its internal control structure. The Internal Auditor will help the organization accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. The scope of work will involve the efficiency of operations, IT controls, the reliability of financial reporting, deterring and detecting fraud, and compliance with laws and regulations.The  Internal Auditors will also conduct compliance and operational audits, offering solutions for weaknesses in internal controls and verifying that all laws and regulations are upheld.  This position reports to the Board.

Desired Qualities
The ideal candidate must possess the following:

•     Minimum of B.Sc/HND in accounting or any related course (ACA/ACCA will be an added advantage).
•     Minimum of 4 years experience preferably in courier/audit firm from structured environment.
•     Competent in Admin and Accounting experience.
•     Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
•     Ability to work with little or no supervision.
