    Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

    Salary: €70,000 - €75,000 per year
    Role: Permanent

    Chief Financial Officer CFO - Port Harcourt, Nigeria

    Location: Onne, Port Harcourt, Nigeria

    Salary: €75,000.00 (net salary) + bonus + benefits + 4 months paid holiday

    Language Skills : English (essential), French (essential)

    Work Pattern : Back to back 2 months on (on site) 1 month off (off site)

    The Background:

    • The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial and accounting management of the company;
    • Provide timely and reliable financial information and analysis that leads to effective decision making in-country;
    • Keep track of and follow up all production costs and other kinds of expenses of the whole company;
    • Provides financial information and analysis that supports the country to meet agreed objectives;
    • Report to the General Manager, and reports functionally to the group CFO;

    The Role:

    • Ensures all necessary books and records are being properly maintained as required by law and closed on a timely basis.
    • Maintains proper internal control over revenue and expenses of the company
    • Cash management: Constant monitoring of invoicing process & cash collection; bank and FOREX daily follow-up and transactions; Weekly detailed cash reporting to GM & HQ
    • Handle cost and inventory accounting function
    • Provide clear and appropriate cost analysis as well as advice and measures to manage and control costs efficiently;
    • Work on developing and improving the reporting system to help senior management have a quick overview and analysis of cost status;
    • Coordinate with various departments' to prepare forecasts & budget;
    • Periodically analyze variances actual expenses vs. budget & forecast, and report them to senior management and relevant managers;
    • Evaluate the key performance indicator of production and inventory
    • Risk and opportunities cost analysis
    • Compare Actual to Budget, analyze deviations, suggest actions to Management
    • Coordinate with Departments, calculate and report impact of changes in prices, selling prices, sales volume etc
    • Monitors the financial performance of the company and advise management of any remedial actions required.
    • Prepares and submits the finance report to management, besides accounts reconciliation and other regular reports
    • Prepares annual budget for approval and ensure proper budgetary control.
    • Provides to the Head Office in France the group reporting package
    • Optimization of IT
    • Risk management (insurance, contracts, commitments, litigation)
    • And more generally, the coordination of resources, planning and organization of work within services.

    The Person :

    • Reliable, with a sense of responsibility and integrity
    • Able to maintain a strong network, able to work and communicate with the operators
    • Master the IT environment
    • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment
    • Management skills, analytical skills, communication skills, negotiating, problem solving skills
    • Degree holder in Finance and Accounting
    • Previous management experience in a similar position, in a manufacturing environment
    • Experience in an international company is a plus
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Internet, Outlook.
