Finance and Account Intern at Redwoods Capital Limited

Responsibilities

• Interact with and provide support to Finance department to achieve department objectives
• Maintain cash controls, i.e. expenses management receipts and database management
• Assist in Bank reconciliations
• Maintain financial files and records, and ensure transactions are properly recorded and entered into the computerised accounting system
• Credit control, cash collection
• Filing of VAT monthly to FIRS 
• Work cross-functionally with Operations and Finance teams to meet goals and deadlines
• Maintenance of Petty cash
• Any other duties as may be required from time to time

Must Have

• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, work with numerous internal customers, departments and vendors.
• Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work across diverse organizations and teams.
• Accounting, Banking and Finance or Economics graduate or similar disciple with a minimum of 2.1 GPA
• Currently looking for a Place for Primary Assignment PPA (i.e 1yr NYSC Youth Service) OR 0 - 1 year post NYSC experience
• Some knowledge of accounting software, MS Excel and Word
• Must possess good writing and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• A team player
• Great attitude and flexibility
