Procurement Manager at Chemonics International

Responsibilities

• The procurement manager will be responsible for purchasing and delivery of goods, services and materials per Chemonics procurement policies. USAID Acquisition Regulations (AIDAR), and Federal Acquisition Regulations ( FAR).
• S/he will report to the Operations Manager and will work directly with local/regional vendors and the Chemonics home office procurement department.
• It is anticipated that this position will be based in Abuja but will likely require frequent travel to locations in northern and/or northeastern Nigeria.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least three (3) years of progressively responsible procurement and logistics work experience.
• Experience with USAID-funded projects preferred with an in-depth knowledge of proper procurement protocols for USAID and/or other donor-funded projects required, including relevant FAR and AIDAR regulations.
