    Contract Administrators

    Job Summary:
    The Contract Administrator shall be responsible for project contract management from pre-construction activities through constructionand commissioning. This position will ensure that all contractual provisions related to our projects are followed, monitored and closed out.

    Major Responsibilities:

    •     Coordinate the negotiation, execution and monitoring and compliance of all contracts
    •     Interpret contract provisions in order to raise relevant clarifications or queries to the client
    •     Update the project management system with key dates/milestones/agreements/ documents and communications.
    •     Monitor contract performance of sub-contractors and vendors by ensuring compliance to contract requirements before approval of invoices.
    •     Handle all documentation and correspondences necessary to obtain approval for work not previously covered in a contract; process and obtain approval for contract variations.
    •     Initiates and/or conducts meetings with clients concerning contractual problems as requested by the Project Manager
    •     Assist the business development in preparing bid documents

    Qualification and Personal Attributes

    •      The ideal candidate must be an Engineer or a lawyer with more than 10 years experience in providing contract management for construction industry in the Oil and Gas sector.
    •     Strong working knowledge of customary construction contract language and provisions.
    •     Confident with excellent communication skills and ability to conduct meetings
    •     Strong drive and unwavering discipline
    •     Membership of professional contract/ project management bodies will be an advantage.
    •     Must be ready to work long hours and work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
    •     Must be able to work as a part of a team
