Qualification: First Degree or it's equivalent in any discipline with at least two years’ sales experience.

Remuneration: N40,000 Monthly Gross + Commission on deals.
General Responsibilities: This position exists to ensure (1) achievement of sales target – party items and venue rental - in terms of frequency and margin; (2) regular feedback report on competition in terms of pricing and marketing strategies; (3) aggressive drive for new customers and retention of existing ones;
Activities:
- Sell company party items and venue rental services at approved prices
- Achieve agreed sales target in terms of frequency and margin
- Create and maintain a database for all customers (prospective customers, new and past customers) for follow up actions
- Attend conferences, seminars, workshops and other networking events to establish a relationship with potential customers
- Develop a relationship with potential customer organisations for – conferences, seminars, end of year party, annual general meeting, send-off party etc.
- Develop a relationship with potential individual customers through relevant contacts for – wedding reception, birthday party, traditional wedding/engagement etc.
- Provide honest feedback on customers’ perceptions of the company’s products and services for necessary action to maximize customer retention.
- Prepare and update intelligence report on competition, including pricing and marketing strategies for management decisions
- Prepare Sales and performance report monthly and compare with the budget.
- Ensure that all policies aimed at sales improvement and target realization are observed.
- Liaise with Customer Relation Officers to ensure prompt order processing and relevant documentation for effective service delivery
- Identify market changing needs and report to the Business Development Manager
- Carry out any other job which may be assigned by management

The job involves regular contacts with existing and potential customers through visits and phone calls.

Qualifications/Experience
