Chief Financial Officer at Welcome2Africa

Under the supervision of the CEO (Chief Executive Officer) and the OM (Operations Manager), Welcome2Africa International is seeking a Chief Financial Officer with 10 years working expense who will be responsible for Creating financial strategy, managing the financial actions of a company, tracking cash flow and financial planning.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the financial strategic planning of the company by evaluating its performance and potential risks.
• Carryout regular financial analysis.
• Develop annual, quarterly and monthly cash flow projections.
• Prepare budgets that meet the requirements of company departments.
• Establish targets and manage all accounting and finance employees.
• Supervise all audit and internal control processes.
• Draft detailed reports on the company’s financial performance.
• Ensure total compliance with financial guidelines and regulations.
• Be engaged in developing new business, specifically: assist the CEO and COO in identifying new investment opportunities, the drafting of prospective programmatic budgets, and determining cost effectiveness of our programmes and conferences
• Study patterns in company spending, revenue, and recommend solutions to any problem areas.
• Coordinate with external financial entities on behalf of the company.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.
• Must be a member of ICAN, ACCA
• A minimum of 10 - 15 years’ experience in financial management.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting software (ERP software and sage50cloud are preferred)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• An analytical mind with good organizational skills.
• Excellent leadership skills
