    University Channel Manager

    Job Objective

    • Lead a team of youth marketing officers and campus ambassadors to ensure that university channel is properly established managed for all our brands, resulting in our brands dominating in terms of presence and recall in their respective categories.

    Core Deliverable

    • Identify, create and execute opportunities with Universities to increase the top of mind awareness, strengthen brand equity and availability within the campus.
    • Liaise with all brand mangers as regards their expectations and requirements from the university channel and help plan the activities along side the brand team and ensure 100% effective execution afterwards
    • Build relationship with all important people across universities to ease execution approvals
    • Achieve marketing targets and availability of Tolaram products in retail outlets in the university through campus ambassadors.
    • Coordinate with the youth marketing officer to make sure the university channel is aligned with the sales team of that region and that campus ambassadors are activating our products at the point of sale.
    • Supervise, coach and train the Youth marketing officer to better execute marketing plans, sell and merchandise our products.

    Requirements / Qualifications

    • Education: Graduate/Post graduate (Preferably in business)
    • Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Sales + 1 year experience in Marketing required (Preferable to have Pan Nigeria exposure)

    Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

    • Marketing acumen
    • Proficiency in executing and in building strong relationships
    • Planning and organizing
    • Experience in handling a team
    • Exerting personal influence for initiating action steps and execution of a plan.
    • Decision-making and demonstrating self-confidence.
    • Strong negotiating skills.
    • Candidates with experience of building channels from the scratch will be preferred.
    • Candidate will be based in Lagos but must be willing to travel throughout Nigeria.
    • FMCG Experience will be preferred.
