Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Purpose

• The Chief Security Officer will mitigate the risks poised to the Group’s operations, personnel and assets through provision of expertise and focused Security Management support across the Group.

Accountabilities (Abridged)

• The candidate will focus on the continuous implementation of strategies and protocols to ensure a high level of security for staff, assets and entire operations across the Group.
• The candidate will maintain a high level of contextual awareness of his operating area and strong coordination with all the teams.
• Will promote a strong Safety and Security culture at field offices through continuous security trainings and awareness programs
• Supervise implementation of security contractors and guard companies as per agreement.

Criteria

• B.Sc or equivalent in Security Management or any related field.
• Professional certification in security risk management or advanced security management will be an added advantage.
• 5 - 7 years’ experience in a security firm and complex insecure settings is preferable.
