We are seeking a proactive, experienced, and passionate Security Guard to join our dedicated team. The primary goal of this role is to ensure a safe and secure environment by undertaking vigilant surveillance of our premises and providing protection for our staff, visitors, and property.
Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing key security functions, including:
Patrol & Inspection: Regularly inspect and patrol the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure the security of doors, windows, and exits.
Access Control:Authorize the entry and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles according to established protocols.
Surveillance Operations: Conduct CCTV surveillance when assigned to monitor activity and identify potential risks.
Incident Response:Respond immediately and appropriately to all alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations in a timely manner.
Reporting: Promptly report any suspicious behavior or happenings through walkie-talkie communication or direct contact, and maintain accurate daily activity reports of all surveillance and incidents.
Emergency Preparedness: Secure all exits, doors, and windows at designated times to maintain a secure perimeter.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Security Guard or in a similar protective role.
Education: Completion of SSCE or a Diploma is required.
Skills: Demonstrated ability in outstanding surveillance and observation, coupled with strong problem-solving skills.
Knowledge: A strong understanding of general guidelines for area security and public safety procedures.
Technology: Basic computer literacy is essential for reporting and monitoring duties.
Personal Attributes: Must be neat, professional, and of good appearance.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; must be a reliable team player.
