HR Operations

• Maintains and updates HR operational plan for the plant and provides feedback to the HR Manager.
• Prepares and submits HR reports on a monthly basis.
• Administers HMO registration and manages HMO related issues.
• Manages payroll administration, maintains and updates HR database as required.
• Supports the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
• Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR policies and procedures.
• Supports the recruitment and selection process by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process.
• Assists in initiating and executing performance management processes within GZI.
• Provides support to the HR Manager in handling all employee relations issues.
• Supports grievance handling and disciplinary procedures within GZI.
• Manages and updates employee records (attendance, Employee fil etc.) according to policy and legal requirements.
• Reviews employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance.
• Provides support in deploying learning interventions.
• Monitors the staff attendance management system.

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Minimum of HND or First Degree in Human Resources or a related social science discipline.
• Relevant certification from a reputable professional institution e.g. CIPM, CIPD, SHRM.
• Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Strong track-record in HR generalist and change management roles.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Good working knowledge of the Nigerian Labour Law.
