• The purpose of this role is to ensure the functions of the Technology unit which include Application developing, hosting, maintaining and supporting innovative solutions for our clients in a safe and secure high availability environment.

Responsibilities

• Implementation of Strategic methods to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of the Technology Team
• Oversee daily Application Monitoring
• Oversee Planning Application Systems Upgrade
• Provide Instruction when new application is installed, or when an existing system is upgraded using accurate unit test cases for Product Testing
• Ensure detailed Provision of support to Clients
• Ensure the Architectural Design of proposed solution is followed
• Ensure Coding and Implementation are accurate
• Oversee Bug Fixing and Feature Enhancement
• DBA Functions & Code Management
• Oversee and manage System Administration
• Oversee and manage Cloud Administration
• Oversee and manage Network Administration
• Ensure the purchase of efficient and cost-effective technological equipment and software

Required Skills

• Proven years of experience as a Head of IT, IT director or similar role
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Experience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications
• Sound understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks, development etc.
• Experience in controlling information technology budget
• Outstanding communication abilities
• B.Sc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field; MSc/MA will be a plus
