    Supply Chain Manager

    Experience Level: Mid level

    Job Description

    • The Supply Chain Manager is needed to Supervise the Smooth flow of Raw and Packing Materials required for Production.

    Dimension of the role

    • Sustain the existing network & handle the supply Chain for materials and ensure timely distribution of the merchandise meeting end to end demand and supply.

    Key Responsibilities

    • RM /PM ordering , and follow up with concerned parties
    • Establishing items stock as per the monthly production sales targets and documentation inventory control
    • Monthly standard vs. actual consumption comparison.
    • Raising note on rejected and expired material.
    • Local receipt as per daily requirement and controlled by PO balance on system are reporting to the manager on daily bases.
    • Compliance and control of receipt and issues of items from Stores
    • Supervision on Vehicle movements and liaise for timely dispatches with concerned parties
    • Space utilization for the smooth movement of raw material within the factory premises.
    • Stock checking on month ends and as advised by Finance.
    • KPIS OTIF/Inventory turns /WIP management and Working capital monitoring, FIFO, FEFO & LIFO systems.

    Experience/Knowledge/Technical Skills
    Education:

    • Degree / HND in Material Management

    Experience Length:

    • 4 years.

    Knowledge Technical Skills:

    • Calculation of direct material requirement through an evolved computerized system.
    • Material as per location specified in FIFO, FEFO & LIFO systems.
    • Raw Material planning and documentation.
    • MS Office Excellent in Excel
    • SAP.

    Purchasing Officer

    Job Description

    • Purchasing Officer Responsibilities include evaluating vendors, negotiating contracts and preparing reports (e.g. on orders and costs.)
    • For this role, you should have good knowledge of market research, along with solid analytical skills to make sure you’re identifying the most profitable offers.
    • Establish relationships and serve as a representative of the company when negotiating contracts and building vendor and supplier trust as well as track and monitor the delivery and confirmation of all materials and supplies.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Research and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers
    • Request quotes and compare prices for maximum ROI
    • Estimate and establish cost parameters and budgets for purchases
    • Create and maintain good relationships with vendors and suppliers
    • Negotiate appropriate contracts for pricing and supply
    • Examine and review products and supplies to ensure quality
    • Track incoming inventory, delivery arrival time, and note actual arrival time
    • Organize and update database of suppliers, delivery times, invoices, and quantity of supplies
    • Work with team members, supervisors, and purchasing manager to develop future purchasing plans and source potential relationships with vendors
    • Analyze potential vendors and suppliers for future project needs
    • Ensure all deliveries contain all goods requested.
    • Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage.
    • Collaborate with financial team members on contracts, invoicing, and other financial matters.
    • Attend trade shows and exhibitions to stay up-to-date.

    Requirements and Qualifications

    • B.Sc or HND in Logistics, Business Administration or relevant field
    • Solid knowledge and understanding of purchasing processes, policy, and systems
    • Two years previous experience as purchasing officer, manager, or related position
    • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
    • Experience in the use of SAP ERP is required.
    • Certification in Supplychain is an advantage.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to negotiate, establish, and process contracts
    • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
    • Accurate and precise attention to detail
    • Able to make decisions in a fast-paced environment
