A candidate for this post should normally possess a good first degree and a doctorate degree in the respective field from a recognized University with at least five (5) years of teaching and research experience since becoming a Lecturer II in a University or comparable institution of higher learning. Candidate must possess evidence of scholarly publications in reputable journals and ability to supervise post-graduate students including doctorate students in areas of expertise.
Areas of Specialisation Theatre Arts:
- Arts of the Theatre, Technical Theatre, Theatre Management and Administration, Media Arts, Dramatic Literature and Criticism, Dance and Choreography.
Areas of Specialisation for Visual Arts:
- Candidate must show a strong commitment to studio art production in ceramics, sculpture or graphics.
- Areas of Specialisation for Music:
- Composition,Theory, Musicology,Performance,Music Psychology.
