Professor (Linguistics/Yoruba, Linguistics/Igbo, Linguistics/Chinese) at University of Lagos

Description

•     Candidates for this post should normally possess a good first degree and a doctorate degree in the respective field from a recognized University with not less than ten (10) years of teaching and research experience since becoming a Lecturer II in a University or comparable institution of higher learning.
•     A strong proof of continuing research with appreciable evidence of scholarly publications in reputable journals published both locally and internationally is required in addition to evidence of ability to supervise post-graduate students including doctorate students in areas of expertise.

Qualifications and Requirements

•     Candidate must also have sufficient administrative experience and must have been an Associate Professor for a minimum of three years.
•     He/She must have ability to provide academic leadership.
•     Candidates who have been Senior Lecturers for a minimum of six (6) years may be considered for appointment.
