Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist in the offshore operation and maintenance of: Light Well Intervention Pressure Control Equipment and Well Abandonment Equipment.
• Continually seek improvement of current operational procedures and equipment specification.
• Maintain equipment as described in Planned Maintenance system autonomously.

Requirements, Qualification and Experience

• Proven experience and results-oriented career and/or B Eng. or Degree equivalents in appropriate engineering subject, unlimited as per STCW Reg.AIII2 and Reg. A. 111/2 respectively;
• Minimum of HND/B.Sc in any Science / Engineering Related field.
• Candidate must have the relevant mandatories (STCW, TBOSIET OPITO, HUET OPITO, GMDSS, OSP and All other relevant Documents for position applied for).
• Knowledge of offshore stability.
• Valid IWCF/Well cap certification, Supervisory level is an added advantage.
• At least 7-15 years of Experience in any the field being applied for.
• Member of a Professional Body is an added advantage
• Valid medical examination and vaccination certificates.
• Valid International Passport.
• Possess basic critical rig equipment training.
• Demonstrated ability of oral and written communications may be substituted in lieu of formal education.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Carry out duties as directed by the Company Offshore supervisory personnel in accordance with Company QHSE policy and operational procedures, including the implementation of Task and Dive Plan;
• Participation in offshore meetings, e.g. morning safety project briefings and wash-ups, etc.

Experience/ Background: (Type/ Duration)

• Shall preferably be qualified in an engineering discipline to a minimum of HNC standard or time served technician with final City & Guilds certificate or equivalent
• Shall meet IMCA competence criteria by having satisfactorily completed the MTCS assessment as a Pilot Technician 1 with a nominal minimum of 1-year offshore experience and 200 hours piloting
• Shall demonstrate technical and operational knowledge of ROV/Trenching systems.

• All food to be prepared and cooked off to the agreed standards in the agreed amounts and passed to hot press as requested.
• Ensure that standards related to food and cleaning services are maintained at all times, strict attention is paid to the requirement of the Food Safety Act (particularly undertaking and recording of temperature controls and overall food hygiene).

Mandatory Entry Level Requirements:

• MIST
• Food Handling Certificate OPITO Survival EBS Initial Deployment Training
• Royal Institute of Public Health and Hygiene (RIPHH) Certificate in Food Hygiene and Safety or Royal Environmental Health Institute for Scotland (REHIS) Intermediate Certificate in Food Hygiene.

• Review, understanding and comply with the Project Quality Plan/System and participation in setting worksite safety objectives and key performance indicators.
• Liaise With Client’s Representative(s) and Company offshore representative and sub-contractors onboard the vessel.
• Ensure appropriate risk assessment are undertaken, TBRA’s, SJA’s, Toolbox talks and TOFS.
