JOB DESCRIPTION

• Carry out setup and installation of new systems into the Company network
• Provide assistance to End-users on general ICT issues and challenges.
• Provide first line support to ICT (Computer systems, Printers etc.) End-user
• Report to the Software/Hardware Admin for issues which cannot be handled and liaise with other Internal and external ICT teams for speedy resolution
• Provide support for shared devices such as Network Printers, Scanners, photocopiers etc.
• Carry out configuration of Anti-spam, Antivirus software in ICT System
• Carry out installation and tuning of all computer software in use within the organisation.
• Deploys new ICT infrastructures (Laptop, Computer Systems) to users and ensures all faulty ones are fixed.
• Troubleshoot all network connectivity issues and liaise with Network support desk for their resolution.
• Ensure strict adherence to QHSE policies and procedures and company with safe work methods as required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the support of computer and network systems.

DESCRIPTION

• Prepare evaluations of software , and recommends improvements or upgrades
• Code procedures according to the functional specification in order to solve the business problem
• Provide documentation for in-house applications
• Provide support for the maintenance of "live" systems
• Design, code, test and debug application software
• Participate in the customization of application packages
• Act to ensure all software documentation are up to date, accurate and sufficiently descriptive
• Work with the Software / Application Supervisor to develop software programs and customized reports to meet business needs
• Provide end user support, upgrades and change requests to all business applications
• Conduct compatibility checks on business system applications
• Review performance of applications to ensure capacity to support changing business demands
• Train end users in the use of new or modified software applications
• Minimum of 6 years relevant experience with 2 years in a supervisory role
