    Customer Experience & Social Media

    Details:

    Tuteria needs a talented Customer Experience & Social Media personnel who is passionate about educational services, human relationships, who treats every inquiry as an opportunity to create a loyal customer, and would love to be a part of our vision to improve access to high quality education in Africa. You’ll correspond with hundreds of customers across Nigeria to ensure they have a memorable experience with Tuteria.

    To be successful, you must be friendly, have great customer satisfaction mentality, mature, enjoy talking with people and ready to do whatever it takes to get customers to use our services.

    Responsibilities

    • Respond to all inbound calls, enquiries, messages and emails from users and customers to make customers happy
    • Help customers make informed decision regarding their learning needs, tutoring options and pricing plans. 
    • Follow up on all interested customers via phone, email, Skype or any other means of communication to ensure they get the best tutors
    • Manage the company's social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & LinkedIn) which involves replying comments, messages, responding to enquires and acquiring customers on social media
    • Run simple, creative campaigns on social media to increase brand visibility
    • Identify customer needs or complaints and cater to them as they arise
    • Work with other colleagues to find and place suitable tutors quickly

    Requirements

    • Must have 1-3 years’ experience in a  customer service position in a previous organization, a plus if you’ve undergone certified customer service training
    • Must have first-class command of written and spoken English, with a clear, mature accent that inspires confidence in customers
    • Must be technology savvy and have worked in a social media manager role in some capacity in the past
    • Have very high negotiation skills, be able to persuade customers to use our services
    • Must have a functional laptop, be able to use the computer especially MS Excel and Google Docs
    • Be 23-30 years, post-NYSC, and available full-time (Mon-Sat, 8:30am-5pm), preferably staying close to Gbagada, Lagos
    • Willing to put in any extra hours where necessary, and pick up phone calls even at odd hours
    • Enjoy talking with a lot of customers, and have excellent phone etiquette

    Sales & Customer Experience

You’ll correspond with hundreds of customers across Nigeria to ensure they have a memorable experience learning on Tuteria.

    To be successful, you must be friendly, have great customer satisfaction mentality, enjoy talking with people and be ready to do whatever it takes to get customers to use our services. You must be good at establishing rapport with customers and colleagues.

    Responsibilities

      • Help customers make informed decision regarding their learning needs, tutoring options and pricing plans
    • Follow up on all interested customers via phone, email, Skype or any other means of communication to ensure they get the best tutors
      • Selling, cross-selling and up-selling hundreds of customers across Nigeria on the various services offered by Tuteria.
    • Identify customer needs or complaints and cater to them as they arise
    • Work with other colleagues to find and place suitable tutors

    Requirements

      • Must have 1-3 years’ experience in a sales or customer service position in a previous organization, a plus if you’ve undergone certified customer service training
    • Must have first-class command of written and spoken English, with a clear, mature accent that inspires confidence in customers
      • Have very high negotiation skills, be able to persuade customers and go to any length to close sales fast
      • Must have lived/grown up in Abuja and can speak fluent Hausa, OR must have lived/grown up in Port Harcourt and understands these cities deeply. (PS: ONLY apply if you have lived in one of these cities, understand them deeply and now live in Lagos)

    Tutor, Success Manager

    Job Description

    • Tuteria needs an enthusiastic and smart Tutor Success Manager who is passionate about educational services, and would love to be a part of our vision to improve access to high quality education in Africa.
    • You’ll manage thousands of tutors across Nigeria, and lead efforts to create the best experiences for them.
    • To be successful, you must think creatively and collaboratively, and be willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done, which may mean stepping out of your comfort zone, and will need to learn new ways of improving learning outcomes.

    Responsibilities

    • Review applications from intending tutors to determine suitability
    • Schedule and conduct tutor interviews over phone or Skype
    • Identify tutors, verify their guarantors/references and facilitate background checks
    • Review tutor subjects and profiles to ensure compliance with highest standards
    • Manage all correspondence with tutors via phone, email and in-person
    • Oversee the matching of tutors with clients
    • Find and on-board more tutors across Nigeria
    • Develop and spearhead innovative projects to significantly improve tutor experience
    • Analyze tutor data to identify trends, challenges and opportunities

    Requirements

    • Must have 1-3 years’ experience working in an educational organization, school or learning institute, a plus if you have a background in Education Admin, Education Psychology or Education Management.
    • Must understand the Nigerian, British and American educational system from Nursery to Graduate Level
    • Able to take initiative, be a leader and execute tasks without supervision in a fast-paced environment
    • Be a perfectionist, and have excellent use of written and spoken English with keen attention to details
    • Must have a functional laptop, be able to use the computer especially research, MS Excel and Google Docs
    • Be 24-30 years, post-NYSC, and available full-time (Mon-Sat, 8:30am-5pm), preferably staying close to Gbagada, Lagos
    • Must have an analytic mindset, be good with numbers

    Salary
    50,000 - 75,000 NGN /month

    Tutor, Matching and Readiness

    Job Description

    • Tuteria needs two enthusiastic and smart Tutor Matching and Tutor Readiness personnel who are passionate about educational services, and would love to be a part of our vision to improve access to high quality education in Africa.
    • You’ll work thousands of tutors across Nigeria matching them with intended customers.
    • To be successful, you must think creatively and collaboratively, and be willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done. If you’re passionate about education, we look forward to hearing from you!

    Responsibilities

    • You'll be responsible for matching suitable tutors with clients based on their requests
    • Ensure tutor profiles are up-to-date and in-line with the organisation's standards for quality
    • Assist as many tutors as necessary, to have their profiles updated in the shortest time possible

    Requirements

    • No experience required, but a plus if you have worked in an educational organization or have a background in education, communication or human relations.
    • Must understand a little, at least, about the Nigerian, British and American educational system from Nursery to Graduate Level
    • Able to function with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
    • Have excellent use of written and spoken English
    • Must have a functional laptop, be able to use the computer comfortably
    • Able to work Monday - Saturday, 8:30am - 5pm at the office, and remotely.
    • Be 22-28 years, a fresh graduate, pre or post-NYSC, preferably staying close to Gbagada, Lagos
