Job Description

• Monthly Management Accounts
• Group consolidated accounts
• Monthly Board Meeting reports
• VAT Returns and VAT compliance
• Management of banking services, payments, statements and reconciliations
• Budget monitoring
• Cashflow forecasts
• Liaison with Accountants / Auditors
• Supervision & workload management of finance support staff
• Any other reasonable finance duty

Qualifications/Requirements

• Minimum of 5years progressive work experience with managerial know- how
• Experience in the media industry an added advantage.
• B.Sc.  degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics and an MBA or MSc an added advantage
• Professional qualification such as ACA/ACCA or similar will be considered a plus
• Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns
• Proficient user of finance software
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
• A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
• Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
