    Our client, a start-up technology and e-business solutions provider in Nigeria is in need of the following positions:

    Senior Business Development Consultant

     

    The Senior Business Development Consultant will be responsible for planning and coordinating all the client’s sales and marketing activities. He/She will work to improve the client’s market position and achieve financial growth. He/she will be responsible for defining the client’s long-term organizational strategic goals, building key customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, negotiating and closing business deals and maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions. He/She will also work with the internal team members, product development teams, marketing staff, and other managers to drive placement opportunities and thereby maximize revenue for the company. He/She will find potential new clients, present to them, ultimately convert them into clients, and continue to grow business in the future. He/she will also help manage existing clients and ensure they stay satisfied and positive.

    Responsibilities

     

    • Coordinate and manage the marketing and sales functions
    • Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business
    • Research and build relationships with new clients
    • Set up meetings between client and company’s executive team
    • Work with team to develop proposals that speak to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives
    • Participate in pricing the solution/service.
    • Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
    • Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.
    • Present an image that mirrors that of the client.
    • Present new services and enhance existing relationships.
    • Work with placed staff and other internal colleagues to meet client’s needs.
    • Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs.
    • Present to and consult with senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and channels.
    • Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and channels that will lead to an increase in placement.
    • Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators together with top management team.
    • Forecast targets and ensure they are met.
    • Prepare and submit periodic progress reports to management team.

    Requirements

    • 4 - 6 years of experience in consultative sales experience, with proven sales results
    • Expert project management skills and attention to detail
    • Extensive knowledge of digital marketing and channels management
    • Measurable track record of success in external sales/business development.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills.
    • Computer skills/proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Ability to effectively function and operate in a rapidly changing and diverse environment.
    • Proactively seek and assess opportunities, plan, implement and evaluate results.
    • Ability to cope with difficult and/or urgent situations requiring immediate decisions.
    • Well organized and the ability to multi-task.
    • Bachelor of Science(2:1) in Marketing or equivalent working experience
    • An MBA would be an added advantage

    Business Development Consultant

     

    The Business Development Consultant will be responsible for generating new businesses by leveraging the consultative approach to sales for all product and service lines. Through the approved sales methods, this position is responsible for identification and execution of business development strategies, outreach to build relationships, and securing new accounts, while maximizing sources of revenue.

    Responsibilities

     

    • Leverage various lead generation methods, including social media, short and long-term opportunities and prospects, to meet or exceed established revenue goals.
    • Monitor sales on an ongoing basis and make adjustments/modifications as needed.
    • Coordinate and submit proposals or deliver presentations to current and prospective client companies
    • Develop and build relationships to generate new business referrals.
    • Track and report status of new business efforts
    • Coordinate efforts, strategies and relationships for new business opportunities.
    • Review and provide input on marketing/business development materials to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
    • Monitor market trends/needs and track competition to provide recommendations for changes as needed.
    • Provide recommendations for annual business-line budget.
    • Attend and participate in trade shows, conferences and other business engagements and follow through timely on leads.

    Requirements

    • 1-3 years of experience in consultative sales experience, with proven sales results

    Digital Marketing Consultant

     

    The Digital Marketing Consultant will be responsible for overall digital user experience and customer (user) satisfaction of our client’s digital initiatives and programs. He/She will ideate, innovate, and collaborate as well as scope, plan, and manage interactive projects. He/She will be held accountable for quality of service, and on-time, on-budget completion of deliverables. He/She must be an effective communicator with an eye for fantastic creative work and be able to identify and sell innovative ideas.

    Responsibilities

     

    • Serve as hub for cross-functional execution of various digital programs and strategic digital initiatives
    • Develop long-term strategic goals for digital properties
    • Consult with multiple departments on user experience and latest trends and opportunities in digital marketing
    • Execute web, social, SEO, search marketing, campaign marketing, and other online strategies
    • Schedule, build, manage and deliver all digital deliverables
    • Manage company’s online presence (website etc.) and social media
    • Generate online and digital leads to grow online sales and subscription of company’s key products and services
    • Manage and produce all digital projects with a focus on user experience and inbound lead generation including; new sites, ongoing web updates, and maintenance of existing digital content
    • Manage digital projects from concept through execution (i.e. web pages, customer communication, lead generation, recruiting, product launches, digital advertising, and event promotions)
    • Collaborate and advise multi-functional teams of designers and web developers
    • Manage programs across the entire marketing technology platforms.
    • Track, monitor and report periodic company’s digital market performance

    Requirements

    • 1-3 years of experience managing digital projects and marketing
    • Expert project management skills and attention to detail
    • Strong understanding of digital best practices and standards
    • Working knowledge of graphic design, web interface design, multimedia and social media
    • Excellent communication, writing and editing skills
    • Ability to think globally and innovatively
    • Enterprise software experience highly desirable
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Ability to work against tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment keeping a keen eye on detail and accuracy
    • Work on multiple initiatives and projects simultaneously
    • Bachelor of Science(2:1) in Marketing or equivalent working experience
    • An MBA would be an added advantage
