    Finance Archivist

    Specific Objectives:  

    •    Responsible for the Office /Cash Transfer vendors Documentation & Archiving
    •    Filing and archiving all related documents 
    •    Check that all daily report summary sheets, the daily transaction sheets and the amounts on the platform correspond. 
    •    Keep close coordination with the cash program manager and team.
    •    Ensure transparency throughout the process of unconditional / conditional  cash transfer program
    •    Ensure validity, reliability, timeliness and quality of all information while submitting to the banks for final payments.
    •    Producing reports on regular basis or as per request of line manager.
    •    Perform other related duties and tasks as appropriately assigned by line manager.
    •    Take responsibilities of filing all financial documents as requested by the line manager

    Qualifications: 

    BSc. Accounting, Bachelor level degree in management, finance, or related field

    Essential Skills and Experience: 

    •    Professionalism
    •    Organized with time management and planning skills
    •    Sense of confidentiality
    •    Strong computer skills, and familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
    •    Ability to manage and follow work plans
    •    Good interpersonal skills  (communication, able to negotiate, influence, give effective feedback, be a team player)
    •    Able to manage stress effectively, juggle competing priorities, balance various programmatic, logistic and team needs 

    Preferred Skills and Experience: 

    •    Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a finance and administration-related role.  
    •    Experience in a non-governmental organization
    •    Experience with donor-funded programs would be appreciated
    •    Ability to speak Hausa / Kanuri or any other local languages is a plus

    Feedback Mechanism Officer

    Overview
    The Feedback Mechanism officer (FMO) will play a key role receiving feedback from all the stake holders especially from target communities and beneficiaries of Action Against Hunger- Maiduguri base.  The FMO role will be largely limited to receive the feedback and manage and record all the information. 

    Specific Objectives:  

    •    Establishment and management of the Feedback Mechanism for Maiduguri base.
    •    Will accurately record the feedback received from the community and other stake holder through different feedback mechanisms in place. 
    •    Generate the daily, weekly and monthly reports on feedback mechanism and share with Field Coordinator 
    •    Carry out investigations when assigned by Field / ME Coordinators
    •    Archiving of all complaints /feedback received 
    •    Interface and regular follow-up with Program Manager to respond to complaints effectively 
    •    Take responsibility for making the complaint handling system accessible to all stakeholders for effective and transparent running of programs at the base level.
    •    Ensure all feedback is shared to Complainants within prescribed timeframes and according to the seriousness of the complaints
    •    Maintain the procedural fairness and adhere to the standard operating procedures of feedback mechanism
    •    Maintain the AAH core principles and ethics while receiving feedback from the community
    •    Ensure good record keeping and filing of all processes adopted during the feedback mechanism and complaint handling.

    Qualifications: 

    Bachelor of Science in public health, statistics or demography with previous experience working in nutrition or health project.

    Essential Skills and Experience:

    •    Professional, motivated, open, creative, mature, responsible, flexible and culturally sensitive
    •    Minimum two years’ experience  working with donor funded programming 
    •    Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office programming (Access,  Outlook, Excel, Power Point, and Word)
    •    Proven ability to create management information systems for large amounts of data within a complex program
    •    Knowledge and experience in using database specific software
    •    Excellent communication, writing and analytical skills
    •    Fluent in  local languages
    •    Experience designing and leading capacity building and training for national teams.

    Preferred Skills and Experience: 

    •    Previous experience in handling feedback mechanism or M&E
    •    Previous experience of working with NGOs

    Cash Officer

    Overview
    Cash Officer will directly report to Cash Deputy Program Manager and will play a key role in implementing the PROTECT IDP response in Yobe State (LGA) in North-Eastern Nigeria. From 2015 to 2016, ACF will implement a multi-sectoral emergency response program to support IDPs in settlement and camps, and most vulnerable host households in a bid to contribute to the eradication of extreme hunger, malnutrition and poverty in Northern Nigeria. 

    Specific Objectives:  

    •    Provide support to the Cash Deputy Program Manager to implement the program successfully. 
    •    Facilitate program coordination and monitoring and evaluation of the FSL activities.
    •    Facilitate community mobilisation activities to support targeting and registration of beneficiaries and improve FSL/Cash Base Interventions knowledge, attitudes and practices 
    •    Represent ACF externally in relevant LGA level forums and technical working groups
    •    Ensure the proper HR management of the field based Cash team

    Qualifications: 
    Degree in Accountancy and food security related field e.g. Agronomics, Agriculture, Animal health, Agricultural engineering, Development Studies etc.

    Essential Skills and Experience: 

    •    Professional, good organizational capacity, motivated, open, creative, mature, responsible, flexible and, culturally sensitive
    •    Excellent team, budget and project management and representation competencies
    •    Previous experience with Cash, food security and livelihoods programming.
    •    Three years relevant work experience 
    •    Capacity to supervise a team
    •    Microsoft Office Skills (Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Word) 
    •    Willing and able to be based and travel regularly within remote areas, where services are limited.
    •    Fluency in Hausa, Kanoori and English

    Preferred Skills and Experience: 

    •    Previous experience managing cash based interventions (i.e. cash for work, cash transfers or cash vouchers) 
    •    Previous team management and activity planning experience 
    •    Good knowledge of the intervention area/s and local economy
    •    Previous experience with ACF
    •    Previous donor programming experience (e.g. USAID, ECHO, DFID, CIDA) 
    •    Analytical capacity
    •    Good relational qualities
    •    Good knowledge of  techniques and agricultural/animal health production systems
    •    Good knowledge of implementing projects
    •    Capacity to write high quality reports
