    Implementation Consultant

     

    Responsibilities: 

    This role is responsible for implementing the enterprise technology solutions at large organisations within the region. Involvement is from solution design, architecture, and implementation, solution testing and go-live phases. 

    Primary Responsibilities and Duties 

    • Solution Implementation - Implements project from initiation to delivery, attends milestone reviews, manages/mitigates escalations that impact/alter the vision of the architecture.
    • Software Development - May be required to undertake customization of software solutions to fit the clients’ specific needs and/or the specificities of the Nigerian regulatory framework as well as development of software improvements and/or additional functionalities.
    • Project Management - Ensures projects milestones and timelines are met and the project is delivered on time, on budget and to the client’s satisfaction.
    • Training - Responsible for training customers’ users, both super-users and administrators (train the trainer) and lighter system users.
    • Support - Responsible for ensuring first line after-sales support, software upgrades and post implementation customer satisfaction. 

    Qualification and Experience: 

    Experience 

    • Minimum of 5 years IT development experience
    • Proficient is object-oriented programme (Java and .NET)
    • Must have worked in Banking/Insurance Organization or IT Company that developed solutions for banking/insurance sector
    • Must have deep understanding of customers’ and partners’ business and IT environment, and have demonstrated skills creating architecture and deploying technology to solve business problems.
    • Candidates must have 5 Years of experience in Professional Software Development, good knowledge of subject area and solid analysis and communication skills, connecting technology and business problems to provide efficient solutions. 

    Skills Required 

    • Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming in Java and .NET
    • Good Mathematical and Algorithmic thinking skills
    • Proficiency in Web Programming
    • JavaScript/JQuery Programming
    • CSS3 Design
    • JSP/JSF/ASP.NET Programming
    • Proficiency in Distributed Object Computing skills
    • Proficiency in Oracle and MS SQL Server Programming skills 

    Qualifications 

    • Must have a degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent work experience.
    • At least 5 years experience in Software Development.
    • Work experience should involve technical consulting, solution design, project envisioning, planning, development, deployment, and management.
    • Must have a proven record of rendering IT projects and delivering business value.
    • Some business process skills or related skills.
    • Proficiency in UML Design Skills
    • Experienced in Enterprise System Integration
    • Good Working Knowledge of Software Design Patterns
    • Good Working knowledge of Server Operating Systems
    • Good Team spirit
    • Good Communication skills

    Finance Manager

     

    Responsibilities:

    Job Summary
    As a Finance manager responsible for the firm’s operations you will play a critical role within the organization. You will be primarily responsible for ensuring the smooth operations of the Finance Operations unit and proper accounting of all transactions as it relates to the firm’s payments service.

    The company will be looking to you to take leadership on all matters relating to the firm’s System and finance function. This covers multiple areas including ensuring the smooth conversion of cash into electronic value, reconciliation of all the firm’s pool accounts on a daily basis, managing our key 3rd party partners accounts including providing reconciliation support, and supporting our customer service functions to resolve any issues relating to finance.

    The company will be looking to you to design and implement processes that ensure smooth operations, train and develop your team members. To be successful you must be someone who has a strong accounting and finance acumen, has the ability to lead teams, and able to define processes and ensure controls are abided. Additionally you must be someone who cares about others, relatable, trustworthy, takes initiative, calm under pressure, and have great communication skills – verbal, non-verbal, and written.

    • Designing, implementing, and communicating all processes and controls relating to the firm’s operations for the finance function (showing strong accounting acumen)
    • Coordinate seamless accounting processes with the IT/engineering team
    • Ensuring the correct reconciliation of all accounts giving wholesome attention to detail
    • Maintaining an excellent working relationship with our partner banks
    • Ensuring the smooth running of the firm’s operations within the finance department
    • Leading a team to execute on the day to day functions proving initiative on the job
    • Ensuring team members abide by agreed controls for all processes
    • Ensuring the “right climate” within your team – this includes championing the consistent measurement of how it feels to work in your team and working with team members to address any issues.
    • People development – You will be responsible for taking the lead in sourcing and providing team members with relevant training for their roles.

    Qualification and Experience:

    • 7+ years of relevant accounting/finance experience with 3+ years of direct supervision or management of an accounting/finance team or department
    • Qualified accountant (ACA,ACCA,CIMA) or equivalent
    • Working knowledge of IFRS standards
    • Strong with Excel and data analysis
    • Strong written and presentation skills a plus
    • Experience working with Banks or companies with significant transaction volumes
    • Experience setting up backend accounting processes and systems for large volume of transactions
    • Bachelor’s degree with a first class or 3.5 (and above) GPA a strong plus
    • Must have completed the mandatory NYSC

    Finance Associate

     

    Responsibilities: 

    • Work closely with the Finance Manager, Finance Operations to review of financial and accounting requirements on new business products, set up the accounting design and required reports applicable to the operating systems as well as data feeding into corporate accounting systems.
    • Hold regular update meetings with the finance operations team and train staff on new/upgraded processes on the systems accounting.
    • Conduct daily reconciliations of collection or pool bank accounts to the organisation’s financial records, and perform ad-hoc and regular forensic accounting exercises on the organisation’s financials.
    • Manage internal controls and processes for system financial data audits and validation enquiries.
    • Work closely with Product Innovation and Quality Assurance teams in drafting business cases relating to financial systems or data; testing and post implementation reviews.
    • Liaise with Operations Support team on systems bugs or anomalies reported by the finance team.
    • Work within the scope of the department’s policies, processes and procedures to analyze and ensure all financial transactions are accurately captured.
    • Working closely with the finance managers to ensure that both new and existing financial features /transactions/ reports on the client system are properly utilized.
    • Continuously monitor and manage improvement of financial features and reports. 
    • Keep abreast of regulatory updates and ensure compliance.

    Qualification and Experience: 

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS  

    • Demonstrate good combined knowledge of information technology, accounting and finance practices.
    • Forensic attention to detail, proactive and be a problem solver
    • Must possess intermediate to advanced excel skills
    • Ability to work under pressure , meet agreed timelines and respond effectively to requests for financial information / reports for the finance department team and budget holders
    • Multi task and manage competing priorities
    • Self-driven and hardworking
    • Ability to communicate complex issues logically with both finance and non-finance stakeholders  

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE 

    • First degree in Accounting or Business concentration; or First Degree in another concentration with at least 3 years of financial system and general accounting experience.
    • Certification or relevant work experience with Information Systems Auditing
    • 4– 6 years in Auditing, Forensic Accounting, Financial Information Technology, System Data Analysis, Quality Assurance, OR similar role in a reputable and structured business environment
    • Must have completed the mandatory NYSC
