    SENIOR QUALITY ASSURANCE ANALYST

    The ideal candidate,

    • should be male or female,
    • at most in his/her mid-thirties,
    • and must be degree-qualified in Microbiology or Biochemistry.
    • Such a person must be capable of the high mental, physical and visual effort required for the position.
    • A minimum of three (3) years of actual quality control/assurance experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing set-up is required for this job.

    Job Functions
    The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst will be primarily responsible for all Quality Assurance activities in the company’s manufacturing facilities; assuring that good manufacturing practices are maintained throughout the manufacturing process right from the requisition of raw materials from store to the point when finished products are dispatched to store.
    Some of his/her areas of responsibility include checking and approval of line clearances prior to production activities; Sampling, Acceptance and Approval of products at different stages of manufacture, review of batch documents and Quality Control reports prior to the release of the batch products, Performance of in-process checks during different manufacturing stages; ensuring of the general cleanliness, proper documentation , current calibration of the equipment and the proper identification of the products at different stages; safe-keep and maintenance of Quality Assurance references samples, liaison with Floor Supervisors to ensure the delivery of products as per the Quality standards and expected volumes, reporting and documentation of on-line deviations in Production areas.

    Additional skillset required for this position includes proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and powerpoint software, a sound knowledge of good manufacturing practices as it applies to a pharmaceutical manufacturing concern. Excellent oral and written communication skills are also required.

    AREA SALES MANAGERS (ETHICALS/OVER-THE-COUNTER); NORTH & SOUTH

    Job Description
    One of Nigeria's leading pharmaceutical companies, based in Awe, Oyo town; urgently requires the services of two (2) Area Sales Managers to handle the South West/South East/South South zone (in the area of Ethical products) and the (North East/North West/North Central zone (in the area of both Ethical and Over-the-counter products).

    The ideal candidate,

    • should be male or female, at most in his/her mid-thirties/early forties,
    • and must be degree-qualified in Pharmacy.
    • Such a person must be capable of the high mental, physical and visual effort required for the position.
    • A minimum of five (5) years of post-qualification experience in a similar role in a similar organization is required for this job.

    Job Functions
    The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for accomplishing the appropriate zone’s  marketing/sales objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counselling, and disciplining sales/marketing personnel in the assigned zone; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; as well as enforcing policies and procedures.
    He/she will execute the company’s sales plans and ensuring profitability and growth in the zone; as well as develop, communicate and supervise the execution of sales plans and strategies for the zone. He/she will also be responsible for servicing strategic distributor/dealers accounts, identifying and exploring new sales opportunities; developing and growing existing accounts and retail outlets through a focused sales team.
    Ultimately, he/she will be responsible for delivering the zone’s sales targets and objectives, coordinating market research activities and providing comprehensive reports by product analysis.
    Additional skillset required for this position includes proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and powerpoint software, a good knowledge of the distribution system within the pharmaceutical sector of the economy. Excellent planning and organizing skills are also required.

    PRODUCTION PHARMACIST

    Job Description
    The ideal candidate,

    • should be male or female, at most in his/her mid-thirties,
    • and must be degree-qualified in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
    • Such a person must be capable of the high mental, physical and visual effort required for the position.
    • A minimum of three (3) years of actual production experience in a pharmaceutical set-up is required for this job.

    Job Functions
    The ideal candidate will join the production team in implementing the strategy of production on site in terms of the set organizational production objectives viz-a-viz compliance, quality, hygiene, safety, cost and scheduling. The candidate will be required to work effectively in production teams; and should be able to effectively manage/supervise such a team if called upon to do so. The candidate must be able to organize and plan production activities, define output targets, and allocate resources (human, financial, material) in a timely manner dependent on management-approved production strategy per time. He/she must be able to define and validate production costs, feasibility and shaping.

    Additionally, he/she must be able to implement actions necessary to meet quality, time and costs in the service improvement proposals of the industry's regulatory authorities; and should as well be able to monitor the regulations on production and hygiene and safety and the environment.

    Lastly, he/she must be able to certify production documents, reply quality audits and administrative issues when and as they arise and coordinate with quality services, logistics and industrial organization.
