o Managing distribution processes and procedures to ensure contractual obligations are met by both the organisation and its service providers
o Ensure the distribution contracts meets the organisation's best practice standards.
o Working with external stakeholders including other broadcasters, regulators, Government, TV platforms and content providers to ensure the objectives of the organisation’s distribution strategies are met.
o Enable technology and commercial partnerships that make the organisation's brands available on different platforms in Nigeria and across the global space.
o Responsible for managing all aspects of the distribution, transmission and carriage of the company’s broadcast platforms.
o Developing channel distribution strategies for each property in consultation with TV partner
o Establish and maintain strong relationships with various broadcast partners and distributors on the various platforms
o Focus on expanding and maximizing content distribution and dissemination across all platforms.
o Manage relevant content distribution at all events, liaising with all broadcast partners.
o Identify opportunities to maximise revenue from current and new broadcast partners in the UK, Africa and Europe.
o Build, maintain and develop proactive and collaborative distribution relationships with all key external stakeholders
o Ensure content is distributed with adherence to quality standards, copyright protection, and guidelines for broadcast.
Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in the distribution of broadcast content.
Experienced in preparing, managing and delivering content distribution plans, reporting progress in line with best practice.
Exceptional communication, interpersonal and assertiveness skills.
Ability to perform under pressure and to work to tight deadlines.
Commercially minded, new business generator with an understanding of the broadcast industry.
The ability to work effectively under pressure to tight deadlines whilst managing a number of projects simultaneously.
Daily communication with partners and various broadcasters to define the opportunities in each market
Set high standards for the organisation's brand and demonstrate a passionate commitment to its values.
Familiar with working in an international environment.
