    Process Engineer II

    MAIN FUNCTIONS

    • Lead a design team in the development of basic process design specifications or provide oversight of an engineering contractor's technical deliverables during the front end design / detailed engineering phases of projects.

    TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Monitor and lead junior engineers in the development of process design specifications, including the
    • development of heat & material balances, design flow plans, process equipment design, preliminary hydraulic
    • balances, utility balances, basic process control & instrumentation, materials selection, safety facilities
    • Lead and/or perform process optimization studies to identify / evaluate capital / operating cost savings, process configuration alternatives, safety facilities requirements, etc.
    • Provide technical oversight for engineering contractor's work during front end engineering & design / detailed engineering to ensure consistency with Company methods & guidelines, project specifications & owner's requirements
    • Participate in Hazard & Operability Reviews for new / modified facilities / in support of existing plant facilities
    • Provide commissioning & start-up assistance for new / modified facilities, as required
    • Establish organization and staffing process

    SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

    • BS degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent, required
    • Experience in petroleum refining / chemical process industry / with an engineering contractor serving these industries
    • Capital project development experience
    • Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs
    • Read, write, and speak fluent English, especially as it applies to technical and business communications

    Specific Requirements

    • 2-5 Years Experience in Oil and Gas Surface Facilities Surveillance Engineering and Asset Reliability / Integrity management.
    • Process simulation, energy and material balance
    • Knowledgeable in Process Safety, Risk assessment and Hazop evaluation
    • Sound knowledge of Asset reliability and integrity fundamentals
    • Able to provide assistance to more senior engineers.
    • Able to work independently in most situations.
    • Has applicable industry experience with more than one Client Company or with industry associations / professional societies.
    • Takes technical initiative and is able to learn quickly and apply knowledge to technical success.
    • Strong data manipulation skills

    Machinery Engineer/ Specialist II

    MAIN FUNCTIONS

    • Evaluate and comment on discipline engineering work performed both internally and by Contractors and sub-contractors to ensure that work is being executed in accordance with Company specifications, company standards, and regulatory requirements. Facilitates effective execution of discipline engineering and design routines that align with the team's goals, objectives, and procedures. Assures accurate and timely communication among the team and other company Functions on discipline engineering activities, progress, and issues. In addition to technical ability, they should demonstrate sound communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.

    TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    In addition to all Level 1 tasks, Level 2 will:

    • Work in a team environment with other engineering disciplines, operations and mechanical personnel
    • Proactively seek reliability improvements directed at increasing plant equipment uptime while reducing maintenance costs
    • Specify new rotating equipment to comply with industry and company design practices
    • Ensure safe, cost effective, operable machinery and associated systems are provided and maintained to meet current business unit needs

    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering specialty, or equivalent professional experience

    Construction Coordinator III

    MAIN FUNCTIONS

    • The Construction Coordinator responsible for construction planning, coordinates construction input and communicates with Construction management. Establishes the Construction Planning Program (CPP) & seek alignment of the planning scope with the Construction Advisor & subsequently with the Construction Support Manager. Manages assigned projects and the implementation contractors involved to ensure that the projects deliverables are completed for RFI, meet the quality requirements and schedule, and delivered to project requirements.

    TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    In addition to all of the Level 1and 2 tasks, a Level 3 Construction Coordinator will:

    • Able to identify issues, problems and opportunities; make timely decisions; develop appropriate and innovative solutions and ask for assistance if required.
    • Able to work on multiple projects of various size and complexity.
    • Able to work effectively in small to large multi-disciplinary teams, and share and transfer knowledge within teams and stake holders.

    SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

    • BS/MS in Engineering
    • Good coordination & interface capabilities
    • Previous experience in a closely related position and / or project experience
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to convey information and ideas to individuals and groups, and make presentations when required.

    Project Management Advisor III

    MAIN FUNCTIONS

    • The Senior Project Management Advisor will typically be involved in the execution planning of one or more major capital projects (>500 M$) during Select and Define Stages and may support and monitor several such projects in the Execution phase post Gate 3. The role requires a seasoned and experienced project professional who can mentor and train less experienced personnel assigned to the function and to specific projects. During the Execution phase, the Advisor will work with project teams to support and validate the use of best practices in project management execution. The Advisor will ensure the project team obtains the services needed to achieve overall project objectives and strategies and efficiently executes the project in accordance with expectations. The Advisor may also be involved in the execution of general interest activities that may have broad application across all projects (enhancements, staffing studies, Independent Project Review (IPR) Process and Plans, maintenance of selected work process, special studies, etc.).

    TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • In addition to all Level 1 and 2 tasks, Level 3:
    • Communicate opportunities and vulnerabilities associated with the execution of the project including significant yard capacity and capability concerns.

    SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

    • BS/MS in Engineering
    • Experience in major capital projects for the oil and gas industry
    • Experience on international projects, with at least two overseas assignments
    • Experience in execution of a major capital project, in a management level capacity on the Project Management Team, is preferred
    • The candidate must have leadership and personnel management skills, and strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with a variety of stakeholders including operations, co-ventures and host government representatives. The candidate must be an effective teacher and mentor, able to share knowledge and experience
    • Expert proficiency in most Project Management skills (e.g. execution planning, contracting/procurement, cost estimating, project controls, planning & scheduling, organization design, etc. )
    • Experience in one or more technical disciplines (Marine, Facilities, Subsea, Pipelines, Structures, etc.)

    Construction Superintendent III

    MAIN FUNCTIONS

    • Responsible for planning, coordinating and controlling the day-to-day field operations for the assigned crafts and subcontractors. A typical scope of responsibility would be Field Superintendent or Area Superintendent.

    TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    In addition to all Level 1 and 2 tasks, a Level 3 Construction Superintendent will:

    • Assist in preparation and review for submittals, RFIs and RFCs and make recommendations regarding suitability
    • Review contractor health and safety plans, traffic control and erosion control measures on projects
    • Verify quantities for payment
    • Identify non-conformance issues with construction work and help develop potential resolution of non-conformance issues
    • May serve as the lead Company representative at sub-sites where the Construction Site Manager or Construction Site Lead typically does not reside
    • Provide construction core competency expertise when assigned to the function
    • Ensure good communications and relations with the contractors

    SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

    • Experience in-field Construction planning, execution, and completions
    • Willing to travel (domestic/overseas) to project sites
    • Past Construction Superintendent experience on major capital project
    • Familiar with Construction Materials Testing procedures and ASTM standards
    • Enthusiastic, self-starter with desire to provide excellent service to clients.

    Instrument Maintenance Technician I

    MAIN FUNCTIONS

    • Installs and maintains instrument equipment in compliance with all rules and practices.

    TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Plans, updates, and oversees all activities within his or her areas of responsibility according to the laws, regulations, standards, specifications, and procedures. Special emphasis must be placed on health, safety, and the environment
    • Supports and encourages team effort between operations, engineering, and projects groups
    • Provides input and reviews the control specifications and work practices
    • Is responsible and accountable for control systems as defined in the Work Management Manual
    • Has the knowledge to apply and follow work permits through Permit To Work System (PTWS) as discussed in the Work Management Manual
    • Ensures the quality and timely completion of work scheduled by the Maintenance Program
    • Develops personal and team technical skills (for example, new regulations, equipment, methods, and others)
    • Attends and instructs (as needed) technical meetings, to keep instrument technicians informed of the latest specifications, codes, procedures, and technology
    • Develops and maintains open communications on control issues (for example, safe work practices, training, materials, and others) with co-workers
    • Supports work prioritization to maximize effectiveness and to complement the efforts of other work groups
    • Provides technical support to other Technicians for maintenance and troubleshooting on company's instrument systems
    • Is able to generate Management of Change requests (MOCs) on control-related equipment and installation and can follow up with installation inspections consistent with oi System (oi) Element 3
    • Constructs, monitors, and inspects new installations for their consistency with the mission and recommend upgrades as necessary
    • Acts as a stand-in for the Instrument Lead position as needed

    SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

    Education and Experience

    • A minimum of grade 12 or an equivalent high school education, preferably enhanced by related technical school courses
    • Experience in maintaining Instruments and Controls in processing plant or offshore production plant

    General Technical Skills

    • Is familiar with regulations applicable to the operations of oil and gas facilities
    • oi systems, related manuals, and procedures

    Specific Technical Skills

    • Meets the safety, administrative, and technical training requirements associated with this position as documented in the company operations-approved training roadmap
