    • Strong understanding of API, ASME, ASTM, ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and other relevant international standards.
    • Experience performing vendor quality audits and supplier evaluations.
    • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, isometric drawings, welding documentation, and technical specifications.
    • Good knowledge of documentation control, inspection reporting, and compliance monitoring.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with SAP or other ERP systems is an added advantage.

    Stock Inventory Officer

    Job Summary

    • Our client in the oil and gas industry is seeking to employ competent Stock Inventory Officers to support inventory management, warehouse control, and stock verification activities across its operational facilities.
    • The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, conducting inventory audits, monitoring warehouse controls, reconciling stock records, and supporting internal control processes to safeguard company assets.
    • Candidates should possess practical experience in inventory management within the oil and gas industry and demonstrate proficiency in SAP inventory management systems and warehouse operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct routine and periodic inventory audits to ensure inventory accuracy and accountability.
    • Perform SAP stock verification and reconcile physical inventory with system records.
    • Investigate inventory variances and recommend corrective actions.
    • Monitor inventory movements, stock transactions, and warehouse activities.
    • Carry out warehouse control reviews to ensure compliance with inventory management procedures.
    • Prepare inventory reconciliation reports and submit findings to management.
    • Maintain accurate inventory records for materials, equipment, spare parts, and consumables.
    • Monitor internal inventory controls to minimize operational risks and stock losses.
    • Support fraud prevention initiatives by identifying inventory irregularities, unauthorized transactions, and process weaknesses.
    • Participate in stock counts, cycle counts, and year-end inventory exercises.
    • Collaborate with warehouse, procurement, logistics, finance, and operations teams to improve inventory accuracy.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, HSE standards, and regulatory requirements.
    • Generate inventory performance reports, KPIs, and management dashboards using SAP and Microsoft Excel.
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives in warehouse and inventory management processes.

    Requirements & Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Accounting, Engineering, Materials Management, or a related discipline.
    • 3–5 years' experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, stock control, or supply chain within the oil and gas industry.
    • Practical experience using SAP MM/WM or other ERP inventory management systems.
    • Strong knowledge of inventory reconciliation, warehouse control procedures, and internal controls.
    • Experience conducting inventory audits and stock verification exercises.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Power BI is an added advantage.
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and report-writing skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify inventory discrepancies.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Demonstrated commitment to Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) compliance.

    Preferred Certifications:

    • SAP MM/WM Certification
    • HSE Level 1, 2, or 3
    • Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT)
    • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
    • Institute of Chartered Accountants (for inventory/internal control roles – an advantage)
    • First Aid and Fire Safety Certification.
