    Store Officer

    POSITION SUMMARY

    The Store Officer will be responsible for handling warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods, while ensuring proper inventory management and workplace safety.

    TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Receive and inspect incoming goods, verifying quantities and condition.
    • Organize and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
    • Pick, pack, and dispatch spare parts accurately and in a timely manner.
    • Maintain accurate inventory records and participate in stock counts.
    • Ensure warehouse operations comply with safety and security standards. Assist in loading and unloading deliveries.
    • Keep the warehouse clean and organized at all times.
    • Report any discrepancies, damages, or shortages.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience performing similar responsibilities.
    • BSc/HND Degree in any related discipline.
    • Relevant professional qualification would be an added advantage.

    Driver

    POSITION SUMMARY

    To ensure the safe, timely, and efficient transportation of management staff, high-level personnel, and company vehicles while strictly following Mikano Motors' safety, compliance, and operational policies.

    TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • He must operate his vehicles safely and responsibly, following all traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of passengers, and other road users.
    • Ensure the vehicle is in good working condition before each trip.
    • He should plan his routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries or arrivals.
    • He is to maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
    • He must be familiar with and comply with transportation regulations, including licensing requirements and safety protocols.
    • Keeping the vehicle clean and organized.
    • Report near misses, incidents, breakdowns, or unusual vehicle behaviour immediately.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Minimum of 4 years' Experience Driving.
    • Familiarity with major city routes and interstate travel is an added advantage.
    • Minimum of SSCE/OND.
    • Valid Driver's License.
    • Defensive Driving Training (added advantage).
    • LASRI card (for Lagos-based drivers).

    Transport Manager

    POSITION SUMMARY

    As the transport manager, you will be involved in planning, managing, and overseeing all logistics operations, including transportation, distribution, and delivery.

    TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities to ensure timely customer delivery schedules are met. Prepare and manage the budget for the transportation department, which includes costs related to fuel, maintenance, and personnel. This involves negotiating contracts with external vendors and service providers. Optimize routes, transport methods, and third-party logistics (3PL) partnerships for cost-efficiency and reliability.
    • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all logistics activities.
    • Lead and develop a team of Transport & logistics staff and Drivers.
    • Collaborate with sales, service, and operations teams to align logistics operations with customer requirements and project timelines

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • A Bachelor's degree or HND in business, supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
    • Relevant postgraduate and or professional qualification would be an added advantage.
    • Minimum 10 years working experience in related discipline (Automobile Industry/Dealership company).
