    Treasury Currency Analyst

    ABOUT THE ROLE.

    • The HelloMe team is built of like-minded individuals on a mission to demystify digital banking services. We’re committed to hiring industry experts and those with a passion for customer-driven results. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Treasury Currency Analyst with experience in Fintech to join our team.
    • The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in monitoring, analyzing, and managing currency-related activities to optimize our financial position and mitigate risks.
    • The Analyst will efficiently strategize and contribute to the implementation of daily, weekly, and monthly cash flows within a multi-currency environment.
    • This role involves coordination with the Treasury and Accounting teams, as well as collaboration with multiple offices to ensure the optimal deployment of cash resources.

    Successful applicants will ideally have to:

    Currency Risk Management:

    • Monitor and analyze currency markets to identify potential risks and opportunities.
    • Develop strategies to hedge against currency risks and enhance the organization's financial stability.

    Forex Analysis:

    • Conduct in-depth analysis of foreign exchange markets, considering economic indicators, geopolitical events, and market trends.
    • Provide timely and insightful reports on currency movements and their potential impact on the organization.

    Financial Modeling:

    • Build and maintain financial models to assess the impact of currency fluctuations on the organization's financial performance.
    • Collaborate with other departments to integrate currency-related insights into overall financial planning.

    Compliance and Reporting:

    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements related to currency transactions.
    • Prepare accurate and timely reports on currency exposure, hedges, and financial impacts for internal and external stakeholders.

    Collaboration:

    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, risk management, and international operations, to align currency strategies with overall business objectives.

    Continuous Improvement:

    • Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes related to currency management.
    • Recommend and implement improvements to existing processes and strategies.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Bachelor's | Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA) is a plus.
    • Proven experience as a Currency Analyst, with a focus on treasury and currency management preferably candidates from Fintech, digital banking payment provider or related industry.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in financial modeling.
    • In-depth knowledge of foreign exchange markets, currency trading strategies, and risk management techniques.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex financial information to diverse stakeholders.
    • Familiarity with relevant financial software and tools.
    • Very good knowledge and presentation skills using MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and other relevant software (for the purpose of analyzing data and producing reports).
    • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate analysis into actionable insights.
    • Adaptable to dynamic market conditions and able to make informed decisions under pressure.
    • Strong team player with the capacity to collaborate effectively across departments.
    • Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards in currency management practices.
    • Proven proficiency in financial analysis, modeling and forecasting.
    • Demonstrated organization and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment with limited supervision and work independently.
    • Ability to work with all levels of the organization to understand business goals.
    • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and turn data into meaningful conclusions.
    • Must be self-driven and able to maintain focus on issues and escalate as necessary.

    Business Operations Manager

    ABOUT THE ROLE.

    • The HelloMe team is built of like-minded individuals on a mission to demystify digital banking services. We’re committed to hiring industry experts and those with a passion for customer-driven results. We are seeking detail-oriented and experienced Operational Manager who is passionate about coordinating organization’s operations. This position entails the oversight and management of the organization's day-to-day technology operations.

    Successful applicants will ideally have to:

    • Improve operational systems, processes, policies, and strategies that supports and aligns seamlessly with the broader business strategy of the mission of HelloMe Limited.
    • Oversee, manage and ensure operations budget including resource allocation and forecasting are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way. 
    • Identify quality control issues and offer ways to resolve them.
    • Create budget for individual programmes and contribute to forecasting long-term plans.
    • Motivate team members and increase the productivities of the team.
    • Formulate strategic and operational objectives for different department.
    • Work closely with IT teams to deliver quick time-to-market and optimal resources.
    • Drive initiatives within the management team and contribute to long-term operational excellence.
    • Create and coordinate daily scrum meetings, planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
    • Solve problems escalated from the team members.
    • Overseeing IT Inquiries, incident/problem management, change management, business relationship management, and service monitoring to maintain operational excellence.
    • Driving efficiency and mitigating operational risks to the barest minimum.
    • Develop process improvement initiatives to achieve operational 
    • Analyzing business models, conducting risk assessments on operations, and putting contingencies in place. 
    • Ensure regulatory, compliance, and legal rules are followed.
    • Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to digital banking.
    • Carry out other operational duties when required.

    Required Skills & Qualifications.

    • M.Sc./B.Sc. degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Operation Management or equivalent preferred.
    • Minimum of proven work experience of five (5) years in Operation Management, preferably candidates from Fintech; digital banking payment provider or related industry.
    • Proven track record of operation management and organizational effectiveness.
    • Highly skilled at conflict management and business negotiation processes.
    • Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
    • Excellent leadership ability and communication skills.
    • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
    • Very good knowledge and presentation skills using MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and other relevant software (for the purpose of analyzing data and producing reports).
    • The ideal candidate will have the ability to create and maintain an efficient system of operation to support the business needs.
    • Experience in Mobile Money Operations will be an advantage.
