    Treasurer

    Responsibilities

    • Carryout operations in accordance with internal and CBN regulation
    • Source funds required for company’s operations
    • Prepare cashflow, forecast weekly and monthly cash inflow and outflow
    • Manage relationships with HNI, Corporate and source funds at lower prices and risk
    • Daily and monthly reconciliation on investment accounts
    • Monitor SFC cash and liquidity position and ensure the treasury risk limits and stationing reserve requirement are adhered to on a daily basis
    • Monitor interest rate and ensure rate are consistent with SFC policies
    • Ensure treasury activities are incompliance with treasury policies, accounting guidance, governance policies and internal control.

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in any numerate discipline.
    • 5 - 7 years cognate experience in a financial institution.Preferable in a finance house/Microfinance bank
    • Analytic skills/Problem Solving
    • Must possess resilience, tenacity and integrity.
    • Must have organizational and coordination skills
    • Possess knowledge and understanding of Risk Management and Financial Standards
    • Communication and listening; gathering information.
    • Must have ability to think strategically.
    • Conversant with up-to-date treasury products, polices and accounting rules
    • Good understanding and interpretation of policy and procedure.
    • Good understanding of computer applications and effective usage.
    • CBN monetary policies.

    Job Summary

    • As a Marketing Officer, you are to carry out effective and efficient BDC Marketing and Operations for the organization, ensuring the increase of the organization’s market share and hence the bottom-line.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop lines of customers / clients for the organization’s business

    • Maintains current record of bank's funds on deposit (position) in BDC account

    • Preparing BDC USD and Naira reconciliation report to determine when to replenish or fund the account.
    • Attend inquiries regarding foreign exchange trading regulations.
    • Prepare Weekly Management report on the latest information as it affects the foreign exchange market and CBN new guidelines and policies

    Requirements

    • B.Sc Degree in Marketing or related field
    • 2 - 3 years’ work experience in marketing or BDC operations.
    • Excellent understanding of BDC operation
    • Ability to meet and exceed set target.
