    Technical Sales Engineer

    Role Description

    • This is a full-time, on-site role located in Port Harcourt for a Technical Sales Engineer. We are looking for a versatile and tech-savvy sales engineer to assist with the selling of engineering software.
    • The Sales Engineer's responsibilities include maintaining extensive knowledge of the products and processes and assisting with closing sales where technical expertise may be required to meet clients’ needs. The Technical Sales Engineer will also be responsible for identifying customer needs, providing technical support, and delivering product solutions.
    • Daily tasks will include conducting sales presentations, managing client accounts, developing strategic sales plans and collaborating with the engineering team to ensure alignment between customer requirements and product offerings.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
    • Identify and engage potential clients, build strong business relationships, and manage key accounts.
    • Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and technical consultations to prospective customers.
    • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, operations, and customer service) to deliver tailored solutions to client needs.
    • Prepare and submit technical proposals, bids, and quotations in line with client requirements.
    • Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to provide valuable insights for business development.
    • Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets and performance KPIs.
    • Provide after-sales support and ensure customer satisfaction through consistent follow-up and service delivery.
    • Simplify technical terms during product demonstrations and post-sales customer support.
    • Update orders/sales and negotiate the best contract terms.
    • Prepare tender documents and participate in tendering processes.
    • Help customers who have problems with installed products and recommend improved or upgraded versions.
    • Train new members of the sales team on the technical aspects of the company's products and services.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience in Technical Sales or a related role.
    • Bachelor’s degree in any of the following:
    • Civil Engineering
    • Architecture
    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Land Surveying
    • Quantity Surveying
    • Strong technical background with the ability to communicate complex solutions in simple terms.
    • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
    • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
    • Strong problem-solving mindset with a customer-first approach.
    • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
    • Willingness to travel for client visits, site inspections, and product demonstrations when required.

    Graduate Trainee Program - Civil Engineering

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist senior engineers, architects, or surveyors in executing real projects.
    • Conduct research, data collection, and technical analysis as assigned.
    • Support project planning, design, implementation, and reporting.

    Requirements

    • A Bachelor’s degree in any of the listed disciplines.
    • Not more than one (1) year post-NYSC completion.

    • Proficiency in relevant software tools (AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, etcwhere applicable) will be an added advantage.
