The Technical Sales Engineer is responsible for driving strategic sales, marketing initiatives, and business development for Home and Personal Care chemicals. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, acquiring new customers, and ensuring sustainable revenue growth.
This is a target-driven position requiring strong sales acumen, market insights, and relationship management skills.
Responsibilities
Lead the strategic positioning and competitive sales development of chemicals for pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and consumer products.
Develop and implement business development strategies to capture new customers and expand market share.
Prepare and manage sales budgets and periodic forecasts.
Negotiate pricing with customers to achieve optimal profitability.
Monitor stock orders, manage supplier relationships, and ensure timely delivery to warehouses.
Conduct regular client visits and acquire new customers each month to boost turnover and ROI.
Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
Provide market analysis, identify trends, and propose innovative product ideas to enhance business strategy.
Organize and conduct product trials with customers, recommending appropriate application rates and methods to maximize cost-effectiveness.
Requirements
B. Tech, Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or any relevant degree
Technical knowledge and experience in developing Home and Personal Care product formulations at lab-level
Previous experience in Quality Control, R&D or Production
Previous experience in selling ingredients and raw materials
