This is a full-time, on-site Technical Engineer role based in Kabuga. The Technical Engineer will be responsible for providing hardware and software support for Transsion devices, including troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues related to mobile phones and other smart products. Daily tasks include performing device testing, analyzing product performance, documenting technical findings, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and user experience. The role also involves supporting after-sales service centers, assisting in firmware updates, and ensuring that technical standards and procedures are followed. The Technical Engineer will communicate with internal teams and external partners to address technical queries and contribute to continuous improvement of service and product reliability.
Qualifications
Strong technical troubleshooting skills in mobile devices, smart hardware, and related software systems.
Ability to perform diagnostic testing, analyze performance data, and document technical issues clearly and accurately.
Knowledge of mobile operating systems, firmware updates, and basic networking concepts.
Capability to collaborate with product, quality assurance, and after-sales service teams to resolve technical problems.
Good written and verbal communication skills for explaining technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and a structured approach to technical support work.
Relevant technical diploma or bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
Experience in mobile device repair, consumer electronics, or telecommunications support is an advantage.
Ability to work on-site in Kabuga and adapt to a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
