    Team Lead - Network Monitoring Centre (NMC)

    • We’re looking for a Team Lead – Network Monitoring Centre to oversee 24/7 active and passive network monitoring operations, ensuring maximum service availability, rapid incident resolution, and excellent customer experience across our fibre, FTTx, and wireless networks.
    • This role is ideal for a hands-on network leader with strong technical depth and proven experience managing NOC / backend engineering teams in a telecom or ISP environment.

    What you’ll be responsible for:

    • Lead and coordinate NMC, NOC, and FTTx backend engineering teams
    • Ensure uninterrupted network monitoring and optimal service availability
    • Oversee first-level incident management, fault logging, escalation, and resolution
    • Monitor network performance thresholds and trigger proactive upgrades
    • Produce daily, weekly, and monthly network performance and availability reports
    • Manage shift rosters and 24/7 monitoring operations
    • Drive automation and innovation in network monitoring and incident reporting
    • Act as a key communication link between infrastructure teams, management, and customers

    Must have requirements:

    • B.Sc / B.Eng in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics, or related field (2.1 or Uppercredit). 
    • CCNA required (CCNP is an advantage)
    • Strong IP networking knowledge (Routing, Switching, GPON)
    • 3–6 years’ experience in NOC / NMC / Network Operations roles
    • Understanding of ITIL v4 service management
    • Excellent communication, analytical, and customer-facing skills
    • Experience with wired, wireless, P2P, and P2MP technologies

    OSP Supervisor- Maintenance

    About the Role

    • We are seeking a hands-on and technically sound Outside Plant (OSP) Supervisor to oversee the maintenance, performance, and reliability of fiber optic and civil infrastructure across our network.
    • This role is critical to ensuring minimal downtime, rapid fault resolution, and high-quality field operations, with a strong focus on customer experience and network integrity.

    Key ResponsibilitiesNetwork Incident Management

    • Manage and resolve fiber network faults and service disruptions across corporate and retail customers.
    • Ensure corporate incidents are resolved within 3 hours and retail incidents within 12 hours.
    • Provide accurate and timely updates through ticketing systems (e.g., OTRS).
    • Support the rollout and integration of new network deployments.

    Preventive Maintenance & Network Optimization

    • Plan and execute preventive maintenance activities across the fiber network.
    • Monitor network performance and contribute to reducing Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).
    • Identify potential risks and implement proactive solutions to prevent outages.

    Fiber Network Operations & Documentation

    • Maintain accurate as-built and as-maintained documentation of fiber infrastructure.
    • Audit fiber routes, splice points, and network configurations.
    • Ensure proper documentation of all maintenance and operational activities.

    FOS Activation & Service Delivery

    • Execute Fiber Optic Service (FOS) activations within 3 days of customer sign-up.
    • Conduct quality checks, obtain customer sign-offs, and submit post-activation reports.

    Reporting & Stakeholder Management

    • Prepare and submit weekly operational reports on incidents, maintenance, and network performance.
    • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth operations.

    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

    • Corporate incident resolution: ≤ 3 hours
    • Retail incident resolution: ≤ 12 hours
    • FOS activation turnaround: ≤ 3 days
    • MTTR reduction and network uptime improvement
    • Accuracy and timeliness of reports and documentation

    RequirementsEducation

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, or Applied Sciences

    Experience

    • Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in the telecommunications industry
    • Proven experience in fiber network deployment and outside plant maintenance
    • Experience supervising civil works and field operations

    Technical Expertise

    • Strong understanding of FTTx / P2P fiber networks
    • Hands-on experience with:
    • Fusion splicing
    • OTDR testing
    • Light Source & Power Meter (LSPM)
    • Visual Fault Locator (VFL)
    • Ability to interpret network designs, architectures, and splice plans
    • Experience with Right of Way (ROW) processes and local regulatory compliance

    Proficiency in:

    • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project)
    • Visio, AutoCAD, or GIS tools (added advantage)
