    Tax Analyst

    Job Purpose

    • The Tax Analyst is responsible for managing the Company’s local and international tax affairs, optimizing the Company’s tax opportunities vis-à-vis the strategies for business growth and expansion and ensuring compliance with regulations to prevent risks of default

    Job Responsibilities

    • Conduct research and analysis on tax laws, regulations, and rulings relevant to the e-commerce and financial services industries to ensure compliance.
    • Prepare, review and file periodic tax returns to the relevant state and federal tax authorities, including Value Added Tax (VAT) and Withholding Tax (WHT) returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to relevant tax laws and regulations.
    • Monitor industry positions, court rulings and changes in tax laws and regulations affecting the Company and communicate the impact to the relevant stakeholders.
    • Review the Company’s projects and contractual documentation for compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (such as finance, accounting, legal, and operations) to gather necessary data and documentation for tax compliance and reporting purposes.
    • Identify, develop, and implement tax planning strategies to optimize the companys tax position while ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
    • Provide guidance on tax implications of e-commerce/financial services initiatives, such as launching new products or services, expanding into new markets, or implementing new business models.
    • Support the tax audit process by assisting with data gathering, responding to tax authority inquiries, and providing necessary documentation.
    • Provide substantive defense in tax audits/investigations and ensure prompt resolution of reviews and queries initiated by the various tax authorities.
    • Identify and promptly resolve tax-related issues, including researching and communicating with relevant tax authorities or external tax advisors.
    • Stay updated on emerging tax issues and trends in the e-commerce industry, assessing their impact on the companys tax compliance and planning strategies.
    • Collaborate with external tax advisors, consultants, or auditors as needed to obtain specialized expertise or support for complex tax matters. Perform tax disclosures in financial reporting.
    • Develop and maintain tax records (including tax provisions) and tax-related policies, procedures, and internal controls.
    • Provide tax-related training and guidance to internal stakeholders, ensuring understanding of tax requirements and implications.
    • Actively build and maintain the company’s reputation and relationship with the tax authorities to reduce friction.

    Requirements Special Skills And Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (ICAN/ACCA certification preferred).
    • At least 5 years’ experience as a tax specialist, preferably with consulting or financial services background.
    • Solid knowledge of tax laws and regulations applicable to the e-commerce and financial services industry, including sales tax, VAT and Withholding Tax.
    • Experience with tax compliance and reporting for e-commerce and financial services transactions and operations.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external advisors.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Knowledge of and proficiency in using tax software and compliance/reporting tools.
    • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, payment systems, and related technologies is a plus.
    • An understanding of international tax principles and cross-border e-commerce is beneficial.
    • Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and tax preparation software

    Supply Chain Finance Analyst

    Job Purpose

    • The Supply Chain Finance Analyst will play a critical role in optimizing Sabi’s supply chain operations (from a finance standpoint) to ensure smooth order fulfillment, minimize costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
    • They will analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve inventory management, logistics, and overall supply chain efficiency.
    • They will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and drive operational excellence in the Company’s supply chain.

    Job Responsibilities

    •  Analyze and evaluate Sabi's supply chain data, including sales forecasts, inventory levels, order fulfillment metrics, and transportation costs from a finance standpoint.
    • Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and operational efficiency improvement in the Company’s supply chain.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sabi’s logistics, procurement, inventory management, and customer service functions to gather relevant data and insights for analysis.
    • Develop and maintain supply chain performance metrics and KPIs, monitoring performance against targets and providing regular reports and analysis to stakeholders.
    • Conduct demand forecasting and inventory analysis to ensure optimal inventory levels, minimize stockouts, and reduce carrying costs. 
    • Identify opportunities to streamline and optimize logistics operations, including transportation routing, carrier selection, and warehouse operations.
    • Assist in the implementation of systems, technologies, and tools to enhance visibility, efficiency, and collaboration across Sabi’s supply chain.
    • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to optimize procurement processes, improve lead times, and ensure quality and reliability of the Company’s supply chain.
    • Support the analysis and evaluation of supplier performance, including monitoring on-time delivery, quality metrics, and contract compliance.
    • Monitor market trends and industry best practices in e-commerce supply chain management, identifying opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.
    • Support the development and implementation of process improvement initiatives, such as lean methodologies, automation, and continuous improvement programs.
    • Collaborate with external partners, such as 3PL providers or fulfillment centers, to optimize logistics and warehousing operations.
    • Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to enhance the organization’s supply chain's overall performance and customer experience.
    • ​Coordinate stock count across all hubs and warehouses and communicate reasons for stock variance to stakeholders.

    Requirements

    Head, Technology Operations

    Job Purpose

    • As the Head of Technology Operations, you would be responsible for the strategic planning, procurement, implementation, security, protocols, and management of Technology solutions in use by SABI and the Information Technology operational activities associated with them.
    •  You would also Oversee the daily operations of the IT Operations department to ensure the functionality, availability, and security of SABI’s IT systems, data, backups, and communications; troubleshoot and remediate issues that arise

    Job Responsibilities

    • Evaluate and assess strategic solutions that leverage new and emerging technologies that drive process automation and improve organization effectiveness and efficiencies.
    • Align IT infrastructure with current and future business requirements and strategic goals.
    • Develop and manage annual IT budgets and procure IT equipment and professional services in accordance with SABI’s Procurement and Contracting Policy
    • Contribute to escalated problem resolution by giving in-person, hands-on support to end users when necessary.
    • Identify, recommend, develop and implement end user training programs to increase computer literacy and self-sufficiency.
    • Conduct research on emerging products, services, protocols and standards in support of service desk technology procurement and development efforts.
    • Liaise with vendors for the procurement of new systems technologies; oversee installation and resolve adaptation issues.
    • Assess need for any system re-configurations (minor or significant) based on request trends and make recommendations.
    • Develop department policies, processes and procedures documentation and provide internal training to department and impacted end users
    • Coordinates and continuously monitor the Technology organization in terms of technology resource gaps analysis, requirements and replacement forecasts based on identified skill sets
    • Provide strategic leadership for the DevOps, System’s Administration and Data Administration team.
    • Support the adoption of CICD framework with product teams, perform DevOps health assessment, identify gaps, and execute recommendations.

    Requirements

    Special Skills and Qualifications

    • A bachelor’s degree in computer applications, Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience
    • Minimum of 10 years core Information Technology operations management
    • Proven experience in IT infrastructure planning, development, and operations, PowerShell scripting VMware, Azure and AWS Server Virtualization
    • Strong technical knowledge of network and server operating system
    • Experience providing support for Windows Operating Systems, SQL Server, and Active Directory.
    • Extensive project management experience and proven record of delivering high end projects in the technology space.
    • Certifications and training in relevant areas (COBIT, ITIL, PMP, TOGAF, Agile Scrum etc.)
    • High-level understanding of the technology landscape (cloud on-prem and tools like MS Office suite, Azure or AWS solutions)
    • Experience with container orchestration, Kubernetes, Docker, AKS, Terraform
    • Knowledge of security scanning/monitoring tools and integration with pipeline
