DESCRIPION:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Oil and Gas Cashier/Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, tracking expenses, and ensuring accurate financial records in the oil and gas sector. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Excellent record keeping, reporting and documentation processes to track and monitor financial activity across different projects.
• Budget management experience.
• Using of Microsoft office packages to navigate, and present data and information.
•  The ability to work in a team.
• Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to work. Basic computer skills, including familiarity with cash register or POS systems.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support crews on sites. Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports.
• Verify and reconcile receipts, invoices, and payments against purchase orders an contracts. 
• Monitor and track expenses, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines and cost control measures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors’ degree/ HND in accounting or related field of study. Minimum 2 years of work experience
• Prior experience as a Cashier or in a similar role preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts. 
• Knowledge of oil and gas industry regulations and practices is preferred.
