    Subsea Wellhead Field Specialist

    Collaborate with the best

    Subsea Wellhead Field Service Specialist provides offshore and onshore support to customers and Baker Hughes (BH) wellhead and ancillary’s installation, maintenance, repair, operation and decommissioning of Subsea equipment and services. Subsea Wellhead Field Service Specialist should perform his duties in an acceptable environmental, health, safety, and quality standards. The role will require flexibility in working hours and an ability to adapt to challenges daily, working with team members locally and remotelyAs a Field Specialist - Subsea production systems, you will be responsible for:

    • Performing on-site installation and decommissioning of Baker Hughes (BH) systems and equipment.
    • Providing technical instruction and assistance to customer representatives regarding installation and decommissioning at customer's sites
    • Participating in EHS, Integrity and Quality programs and initiatives
    • Maintaining e and recork DPRT tools
    • Preparing spudding tools and inspect 36” high capacity LPWH and 18¾ high capacities HPWHH
    • Inspecting, clean and latch ring profiles on mud mats
    • Using spud and drilling customer well using MS-700 high capacity DHCW LPWH and HPWH on a latch ring mud mat system
    • Install and recover wear bushings, Casing Hangers,

    To be successful in this role you will:

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Mechanical Engineering fields (or a high school diploma / GED with proven experience in Engineering/Technology)
    • Have 6 years’ experience in Subsea Field Services Engineer role – specifically Controls, Completions and/or Wellhead (MS 700, MS 800, & SG-5).
    • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of one of the Product Category (Wellhead operations) & working Environment, Can Supervise in 2nd Product Category of Baker Hughes Skill set competency.  
    • Have willingness and ability to travel 100% of the time at short notice – this is an ad hoc role and flexibility is essential.
    • Have a valid NYSC discharge or exemption certificate ( please indicate clearly on resume)

    Field Specialist - Subsea Tree Production

    Job Description

    The Subsea Field Service Production Tree Specialist provides offshore and onshore support to customers and BH for Subsea installation, maintenance, repair, operation and decommissioning of Subsea equipment and services. He may lead some customer job depending on the required skillset, his competency level and Manager’s discretion. The role will require flexibility in working hours and an ability to adapt to challenges daily, working with team members locally and remotely.

    • Performing on-site installation and decommissioning of BH systems and equipment
    • Providing technical instruction and assistance to customer representatives regarding installation and decommissioning at customer's sites
    • Performing Completion, Light Well Intervention, Pressure Control equipment and Well Abandonment equipment. 
    • Operating and maintaining of 5-1/8” & 7-1/16” Subsea Intervention Lubricator system, providing safe access to well bore for wireline tools whilst maintaining pressure integrity
    • Being able to carry out live well abandonment operations using the Subsea Intervention Lubricator including
    • Being able to set of E-line plugs, E-line perforation, Bull heading fluid to formation, cutting tubing, tree and tubing hanger removal and well kill, DHSV investigation and testing
    • Having the ability to rig up and testing TRT`s too Well Ops SIL
    • Deploying, testing and recovery of XT/TRT plus TC/TCRT

    Field Specialist - Controls System and Equipment

    Job Description

    As a Field Service Specialist, you'll provides offshore and onshore support to customers and BH for Subsea installation, maintenance, repair HPU, operation and decommissioning of controls Subsea equipment and services. The role will require flexibility in working hours and an ability to adapt to challenges daily, working with team members locally and remotely.

    As a Field Specialist - Subsea production systems, you will be responsible for:

    • Coordinating and overseeing work at the a field site, providing quality service to the customer
    • Performing on-site installation and decommissioning of BH SPS Controls systems and equipment
    • Perform Well Control operations during Light/ heavy weight intervention (Rig-less/ Rig base)
    • Install/Maintain, Refurbished and Upgraded Electrical Control Equipment ranging from HPUs, IWOCS reels, Master control units, Xmas trees to EDP/ LRPs VCT, and, Jumpers
    • Having in depth knowledge of Subsea Tree controls system, installation, and recovery operations.
    • Having the capabilities and Technicality of installation of and recovery SCM and XT Choke
    • Performing on-site installation of controls systems and equipment and ongoing preventive maintenance, repair, and calibration after installation

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Mechanical Engineering fields (or a high school diploma / GED with proven experience in Engineering/Technology)
    • Be a good team player and display good communication skills with interest in work related travel.
    • Demonstrate good knowledge working on subsea production systems
    • Be a natural, proactive communicator with good customer service skills
    • Have 4 years' experience on Subsea/Surface Wellhead and Production Equipment
    • Have a Mechanical / Hydraulic apprenticeship with significant offshore experience in a Surface / Subsea environment
    • Have a valid NYSC discharge or exemption certificate ( please indicate clearly on resume)
