    Strategy Manager

    Responsibilities

    • Lead the development and execution of JNCI’s corporate strategy in alignment with Board directives.
    • Translate strategic objectives into actionable departmental and organizational plans.
    • Provide strategic insights, reports, and recommendations to the Management.
    • Conduct market, policy, and competitor analyses to identify growth opportunities and risks.
    • Oversee business intelligence functions, including data analysis, performance tracking, and strategic reporting.
    • Evaluate new business opportunities and healthcare initiatives for sustainability and impact.
    • Drive organizational transformation, business process improvement, and change management initiatives.
    • Support departmental heads with strategic guidance to ensure alignment with corporate goals.

    Qualifications

    • A graduate in Business Management, Economics, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
    • 8–12 years of progressive experience in Strategy, Business Management, or Consulting, with at least 4 years in the healthcare industry.
    • Strong analytical and research skills with a deep understanding of healthcare systems and operations.
    • Proven experience in strategic planning, business intelligence, and change management.
    • Skilled in data-driven decision-making, financial forecasting, and performance reporting.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experienced in using Power BI and the Balanced Scorecard.

    Project & Operations Lead – Government Programme

    Role Summary

    • The Lead, Operations oversees the day-to-day internal execution of program activities, ensuring efficient processes, resource allocation, and integration across various pillars. This role maintains operational coherence in support of the program’s overall vision.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Operational Planning: Develop annual and quarterly work plans, budgets, and timelines for all program components.
    • Process Improvement: Streamline operational workflows, ensuring optimal use of financial and human resources.
    • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational risks; escalate critical issues to leadership.
    • Team Coordination: Collaborate with functional leads (Programs, Partnerships, PMO) to ensure consistent execution of tasks.
    • Compliance: Oversee adherence to relevant regulations, government directives, and donor requirements.
    • Supervise: core support teams working on the Programme e.g. Communications, Event Planning etc
    • Manage external vendors for effective delivery of contractual obligations.

    KPIs

    Operational Efficiency

    • Percentage adherence to approved budgets and timelines for all program components (±5% deviation).

    Risk Mitigation

    • Number of operational risks identified, tracked, and resolved before causing major delays.

    Resource Allocation and reporting

    • Efficiency ratio comparing resource usage (funds, personnel) to outputs delivered (program activities, events).

    Cross-Functional Coordination

    • Frequency of coordination meetings (monthly or quarterly) and subsequent implementation rate of agreed action items (95%+).
