    Job Summary

    • The Steam Turbines DCS Operator is responsible for monitoring and controlling steam turbine operations via the Distributed Control System (DCS). The role ensures stable and safe turbine operation, load management, efficiency optimization, and compliance with standard operating and safety procedures

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Monitor and operate turbine systems through the DCS panel.

    Irrigation and Drainage Manager

    Job Summary

    • Managing and supervising of the Irrigation section of the Cane Production. Department by proving periodical reports through Daily, weekly & Monthly in time. Ensure proper recording of data regarding the hourly release of water from Kiri dam to the fields as well as performance of pump station.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities.

    • Budget and Cost Control: Provide annual budget to his section, adherence of stipulated norms and execution of works without escalation of cost. Continual improvement of operational efficiency should be ensured.
    • Irrigation Management: Scheduling of irrigation cycle based on the weather data, age of crop and soil condition, Ensure the water use efficiency and cane productivity including the Dry off schedule in consultation with farm Managers with due information to Head of Agric.  Having measurement devices in all the vantage points, enable us to have effective monitoring of inflow, irrigation& Drain
    • Maintenance of Reservoirs & Canals: Maintenance/desilting/clearing of Canals and reservoirs, in order to ensure the free flow of water. Periodical maintenance calendar of irrigation/Drainage canals should be planned and executed in both off crop & crop season. Periodical maintenance of reservoir Gates, canal shutters and turnouts should be planned and executed to have leak free controlled irrigation.
    • Pump House: Periodical Maintenance and operation of Pump house on cost effective manner. Based on the soil analysis and soil mapping, he has to design and execute the appropriate irrigation technique. Ascertaining the irrigation requirement and upgrading the available irrigation system. In co-ordination with Factory electrical/mechanical dept., ensure adequate spares to smooth operation of pumps and motors without any challenges. Maintain the periodical data through Hourly/daily/weekly/monthly power consumption, water discharge, operational time and break down time.
    • Farm Roads: Periodical upgradation and maintenance of Farm roads, continual improvement of farm roads to ensure efficient operation of farming activities during Rainy period.
    • Irrigation Tools: Upgrading the irrigation tools and techniques to ensure the effective irrigation. Ensure the availability of the needed tools and equipment to the team to enable them to discharge their duties effectively

    Educational Qualification and Work Experience

    • B.Sc. or HND in Civil or Irrigation Engineering or other equivalent courses
    • Certification is an added advantage.
    • 10-15 Years working experience in Irrigation and Survey related works in a large-scale estate.

    Job Summary

    • The Boilers Attendant - Field Operator is responsible for performing on-site operational tasks associated with the safe and efficient functioning of the boiler systems and their auxiliaries.

    • The Boiler Mechanical In-Charge is responsible for overseeing the mechanical integrity, maintenance, and performance of all boiler systems within the cogeneration plant.
    • This role ensures the boilers are operated and maintained safely, efficiently, and reliably in compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and operational goals.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Supervise daily mechanical operations and inspections of boiler systems
    • Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules
    • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical failures, leaks, and abnormal conditions
    • Review boiler efficiency and implement improvement measures
    • Ensure availability of critical spares and materials for boiler maintenance
    • Ensure strict compliance with safety procedures and industry standards
    • Lead commissioning, shutdown planning, execution, and maintenance activities etc
    • Coordinate with operations, electrical, and I&C team for integrated operation and maintenance.
    • Prepare and maintain detailed reports on operation, inspections, breakdowns, and maintenance.
    • Train and supervise junior staff, including assistants and technicians.

    Educational Qualifications and Work Experience

    • B.Sc. HND or any equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
    • Professional Certification is an added advantage. (Certification in Boiler Operation & Maintenance preferred)
    • Minimum 15 years in boiler maintenance and operation in cogeneration or thermal power plants, with at least 7 years in a supervisory or lead engineer role.

    Co-generation Power Plant Shift In-Charge

    Job Summary

    • The Co-generation Power Plant Shift In-Charge is responsible for the safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operation of the cogeneration power plant during assigned shifts. 
    • This includes supervising plant operations, coordinating with other departments, monitoring system performance, and leading shift personnel to ensure compliance with operational procedures, safety standards, and production targets.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Supervise and control the entire plant operation during the shift.
    • Monitor power generation, steam production, and plant parameters via DCS and field.
    • Coordinate with Boiler, Turbine, Electrical, and WTP teams for load adjustments and issue resolution.
    • Ensure strict adherence to safety and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
    • Record and report plant performance, incidents, and abnormalities.
    • Provide technical guidance to operators and technicians.
    • Lead troubleshooting of plant equipment and systems in coordination with maintenance.
    • Manage manpower deployment and shift schedules effectively.
    • Conduct shift changeover briefings and maintain proper logbooks.
    • Escalate critical issues to management and follow through resolution action.

    Educational Qualifications and Work Experience

    • B.Sc.,HND or any equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
    • Professional Certification is an added advantage. (Certificate of Proficiency in Power Plant/Boiler Operation preferred)
    • Minimum 10 years in cogeneration or thermal power plant operations, with at least 5 years in a shift supervisory role
