Geographic Information System (GIS) Analyst at Dangote

Job Summary

•  The Geographic Information System (G.I.S) Analyst shall collect analyse and present spatial data to enable geospatial decision making in DSR Numan.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate all topographic and digitalization mapping activities during land preparation and any other area or remote sensing activities in the company.
• Report to land development manager all the job plan and daily success.
• Coordinate and supervise the activities of G.I.S Team.
• Mapping and Visualization: prepare, analyst and produce topographic and digital maps for land development and Agricultural purposes.
• Computation and designing of farm demarcations through rows per hectare to enable the preparation of field completion report.
• Calculate, analyse and transform survey field data to a simple report to enable decision making.
• Connection and configuration of GPS/GNSS and monitoring all Auto guided Vehicle-based operations.

Educational Qualifications and Work Experience

• B.Sc. Or HND Surveying and Geo-informatics, Geo-spatial Engineering or other related courses
• Professional Certification is an added advantage.
• 5-10 years working experience.
