    Special Assistant – Economic Strategy & Brand Positioning

    Role brief

    • A high-trust strategic role supporting a senior committee member within a State-level Economic Council under a Traditional Institution. The role supports economic strategy design, institutional positioning, policy research, branding direction, and executive decision support. It requires strong analytical depth, structured execution, and senior stakeholder engagement capability.

    Core Responsibilities

    • Economic Strategy & Framework Support
    • Support development of operational and governance frameworks

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • High discretion, professionalism, and cultural awareness

    Human Resource Officer (Oil Palm)

    Job brief

    • Ensure effective internal control and compliance in HR operations by maintaining accurate employee records, reviewing HR processes, and coordinating periodic audits to uphold accuracy and policy adherence.

    Head of Stores (Steel TMT)

    Role brief

    • We are seeking a Head of Stores with strong steel manufacturing experience to manage end-to-end inventory, ensuring stock accuracy, ERP integrity, and continuous availability of critical materials while minimizing losses.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee receipt, storage, issuance, and documentation of materials, spares, and consumables.
    • Maintain real-time inventory records on ERP (Microsoft Dynamics NAV or similar).
    • Enforce inventory controls, audit compliance, and stock reconciliation processes.
    • Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages, overstock, and obsolescence.
    • Generate periodic inventory and variance reports.
    • Partner with Operations, Procurement, Accounts, and Audit on controls and planning.
    • Lead and supervise store staff and safety compliance.

    • Experience working with audit and finance teams
    • Must be willing to relocate!

    Group Strategy & Risk Management Manager

    Job brief

    • This position will be responsible for formulating and implementing the company’s strategic policies, risk management and mitigation and system audit and control.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop, execute and manage the system operating plan with the company strategic plan and ensure that goals are achieved.
    • Develop innovative risk assessment methodologies to evaluate business risks from external causes and internal exposures and process inefficiencies.
    • Create, implement and monitor strategies for risk mitigation in all areas of the business.
    • Ensure a uniform and coordinated approach to risk assessments by providing guidance documents and facilitating assessments by business units.

    • Manage and steward the Integrated Opportunity and Risk Management (ORM) program providing regular revisions and updates as necessary.
    • Build out and steward the development and management of all operative unit’s business resumption plans.
    • Drive a culture of risk awareness, accountability and execution discipline.
    • Champion continuous improvement across strategy and risk management practices.
    • Responsible for conducting various risk assessments to identify potential threats and weaknesses, and develop contingency plans to address them.

    Qualifications / Key competence

    • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Risk Management or related discipline.
    • Master’s degree (MBA or related field) preferred.
    • 9+ years relevant experience in risk management, corporate strategy, consulting, financial services or related environment.
    • Experience within banking, investment management, asset management or diversified financial services preferred.
    • Demonstrated experience in enterprise risk, strategy formulation and performance management.
    • Experience preparing executive/board-level reports.

    Certifications:

    • Global Association of Risk Professionals (FRM)
    • Chartered Financial Analyst Institute (CFA – added advantage)
    • Relevant governance or strategy certifications are an advantage.
