Role Overview
The Senior Sales Consultant will drive the sale of Technogym's high-end, premium fitness and wellness equipment on behalf of BPL Wellness, the exclusive representative of Technogym, the world's number one wellness brand. This is a core, revenue-driving sales role responsible for winning and growing high-value accounts across Nigeria's leading fitness facilities, hotels, corporates, residential developments, and retail client. The ideal candidate is a polished, results-driven sales professional with a proven track record of closing high-ticket deals and engaging confidently with senior decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development
- Identify, pursue, and win new high-value sales opportunities for Technogym's premium product range across target sectors, including luxury fitness facilities, five-star hotels, corporates, high-end residential developments, and healthcare providers.
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of qualified, high-net-worth and institutional prospects through proactive outreach, networking, referrals, and strategic relationship-building.
- Consistently achieve and exceed aggressive sales targets and revenue goals for premium, high-ticket equipment.
Strategic Account and Market Ownership
- Take ownership of key strategic accounts, driving large-scale equipment deals from initial engagement through to close.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, including business owners, facility managers, and C-suite executives, on premium wellness equipment solutions.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client needs to identify new high-value opportunities and inform sales strategy.
Solution Selling and Product Demonstration
- Deliver compelling, high-impact product presentations and demonstrations that showcase the craftsmanship, innovation, and superior quality of Technogym's premium product range.
- Translate client requirements into tailored, high-value proposals that reflect both technical specifications and the premium positioning of the brand.
- Negotiate and close high-value contracts with precision and professionalism, coordinating with technical and delivery teams as needed.
Client Relationship and Account Management
- Build and sustain long-term relationships with premium clients to drive renewals, upgrades, and expansion of equipment across multiple sites.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for top-tier accounts, ensuring a seamless experience from sale through delivery, installation, and after-sales support.
- Champion an exceptional client experience that reinforces Technogym and BPL Wellness as the premium choice in the market.
Sales Pipeline and CRM Management
- Maintain rigorous, accurate records of leads, opportunities, and high-value deals within the CRM system.
- Track deals through every stage of the sales pipeline, ensuring disciplined follow-up and forecasting accuracy.
- Collaborate closely with the wider sales team to align on territory coverage, account ownership, and strategic account planning.
Reporting and Sales Performance
- Provide detailed, regular reports on sales activity, pipeline health, and revenue performance against targets.
- Analyze sales data, win/loss trends, and client feedback to continuously refine sales approach and improve close rates.
- Contribute senior-level insights to sales forecasting, pricing strategy, and broader business growth discussions.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in B2B sales, with a strong, demonstrated track record of selling premium, luxury, or high-ticket products or equipment.
- Proven success closing high-value deals and managing strategic, high-net-worth, or institutional accounts.
- Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and closing skills, with the gravitas to engage confidently with senior executives and decision-makers.
- Strong commercial and market awareness, with the ability to position premium products effectively against competitors.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
