• The Senior Maintenance Manager will lead and manage a team, overseeing the allocation of workloads and the day-to-day operations within the workshop.
• This role requires the job holder to coordinate, schedule, monitor, and manage resources, while liaising with both internal and external key contacts to ensure work is completed on time and meets quality standards.

Key Responsilities

• Coordinate, schedule, and audit fleet maintenance repairs, including preventive, proactive, breakdown, predictive, mechanical, and electrical repairs for tractors, trucks, and trailers (both articulated and non-articulated).
• Develop maintenance procedures and ensure their proper implementation.
• Conduct facility inspections to identify and address any issues.
• Plan and manage all repair and installation activities, ensuring timely completion and quality standards.
• Assign workloads and supervise maintenance staff.
• Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary to maintain operational continuity.
• Track expenses and control the maintenance budget to ensure cost-efficiency.
• Manage relationships with contractors and service providers, ensuring high-quality services and timely completion of tasks.
• Establish and implement maintenance procedures, ensuring they are followed consistently across the workshop.
• Inspect electrical and hydraulic systems in buildings and vehicles to ensure they function correctly and safely.
• Maintain maintenance logs and report on daily activities, highlighting issues and resolutions.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all staff.
• Ensure full implementation of workshop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistent operations.

Requirements
Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Additional certifications in fleet maintenance, workshop management, or logistics operations are an advantage.

 Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in vehicle maintenance and workshop operations, preferably within the logistics, transportation, or heavy commercial vehicle industry.
• Hands-on experience with multi-axle articulated and non-articulated trucks, trailers, tankers, and other heavy-duty logistics equipment.
• Proven track record in managing workshop teams, scheduling maintenance tasks, and ensuring quality standards in repairs and servicing.

Job Summary

• The Inventory Officer at Dangote Cement Plc is responsible for ensuring that the company’s goal and objectives as it relates to spare parts are met by locating and dispensing them as at when needed. 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Approves stores requisitions from user department for issuance.
• Ensures inspection of receipt items on GRN raised for payment.
• Ensures approved signatories endorse issue slips before collection.
• Checks bin card posting and computer entry.
• Prepares list of items for quarterly and yearly stock take.
• Ensures that details of stock take and valuation are entered unto bin cards.
• Ensures proper protection of stock items against hazards (fire, dirt etc.).
• Liaises with user department to generate max/min stock level.
• Maintains proper housekeeping and availability of material handling equipment.

Requirements

• HND / BSc Degree in Purchasing and Supply/Business Management or related discipline
• Minimum of 5 Years of relevant work experience
• Demonstrated ability to learn.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Good teaming skills.
• Creativity and an ability to think out of the box.

Description

• Accountable for operating Light Motor Vehicles safely and efficiently.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate all assigned vehicle in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks of vehicle
• Conduct pre-operational checks on vehicle and clean, lubricate and refill equipment as scheduled and/or required.
• Ensure routine maintenance of Light Motor Vehicles
• Recommend any requirements for maintenance or repairs to the Supervisor.
• Practice workplace safety.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements

• Primary School Certificate, a valid Classes C, E, G or H Driver's License + minimum of 10 years Corporate Driving Experience.
• Good knowledge of light motor vehicles
• Good communication skills.
• Good understanding of road safety rules and signs
• Baseline problem analysis and solving skills.
• Creativity and an ability to think out of the box.
