Senior Branch Manager at the Label Store

A fast-growing supermarket in Lagos, with multiple branches across the state, is seeking to recruit a highly experienced, result-oriented, and competent Branch Manager to oversee branch operations and drive business growth. The ideal candidate must possess strong leadership, personnel management, and business management skills with proven managerial experience in a structured organization.

Preferred candidates must reside around Alapere, Ojodu, Ogudu, Ogba, Magodo axis.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years proven experience in a managerial role in a structured organization from any industry, including banking, manufacturing, retail, FMCG, etc.
• Minimum of M.Sc, B.Sc or HND in Business Administration, Management, or any related field.
• Strong knowledge of personnel management and business management.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Good understanding of retail operations, inventory control, merchandising, and customer service standards.
• Ability to drive sales, improve operational efficiency, and effectively manage staff.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Banking background will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the branch to ensure efficiency, profitability, and excellent customer satisfaction.
• Supervise, mentor, and motivate staff to achieve sales targets and maintain high service delivery standards.
• Monitor stock levels, manage inventory, and coordinate replenishment with the procurement team.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and internal controls.
• Prepare and present periodic sales, performance, and operational reports to management.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and customer-friendly store environment at all times.
• Implement strategies to grow revenue, reduce shrinkage, and enhance overall store performance.
