    Security Manager

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Collaborating with all business units to ensure efficient security service delivery and determine security needs.
    • Planning and implementing comprehensive security strategies.
    • Supervising, recruiting, and training security operatives.
    • Gathering security intelligence and implementing preventative measures.
    • Collaborate with Managers in developing staff work schedules, allocating tasks, and monitoring personnel performance.
    • Keeping abreast of new technologies and advancements in security services.
    • Ensuring compliance with company policies and security industry regulations.
    • Create comprehensive reports for management on Security Unit and operations.
    • Perform other functions as required by line manager and/or management.

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    • Extensive knowledge of security protocol and procedures.
    • Excellent management and supervisory skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to provide training on security policies and procedures.
    • Ability to work with confidential and classified information.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

    Education and Experience:

    • Higher National Diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
    • Experience in any of the Nigerian Armed Forces required.

    Security Supervisor

    Job Summary:

    • The Security Supervisor will oversee facility security to protect all facility assets. The Security Supervisor may also manage and/or implement security protocols related to the storage of confidential information and documents.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensure that all new staff fully understand requirements of the company Handbook.
    • Responsible for effective training of each new security guard recruited to meet agreed business and functional standards and procedures. This will also cover safe usage of all equipment, e.g. walkie-talkies etc.
    • Prepare work chart, schedule and assign specific duties/roles and ensure full adherence.
    • Responsible for the proper daily turnout of security guards in their uniforms, shoes, nametags etc. whilst they are on duty.
    • Ensure that the security guards are effectively tutored on assigned duty posts as well as directives on effective placement at their duty points and use of break times.
    • Educate and ensure compliance of safety rules and regulations on relevance/ critical role of (PPE) Personal Protecting Equipment /Mandatory Dress Code.
    • Collect, control and monitor the usage of security equipment to avoid/ minimize waste and/or misuse.
    • Timely inspection of security activities and inspection of equipment on a regular basis to proactively manage wear and tears as well as need for replacement.
    • Monitoring the performance of staff and giving report on staff appraisal.
    • Act as a communication link between management and staff (daily reports, situation reports, emergency reports).
    • Monitor and report absenteeism to the Manager.
    • Report sick security guards to the Manager on time and deploy a reliever to cover the duty of sick security guard pending the time of resumption.
    • Request for immediate replacement of any resigned security guard to avoid shortage of hands.
    • Liaise with the Manager daily regarding current tasks and assist in the planning of future tasks.
    • Self-training to cope with higher responsibilities.

    Security Supervisor Role Requirements

    • National Diploma is required.
    • Proven experience working as a Security Supervisor.
    • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
    • Physically agile.
    • Excellent organizational skills.
    • Effective communication skills.
    • Exceptional customer service skills.
    • Teamwork and problem-solving skills.

    Working Condition:

    • Work may involve early mornings, late evenings, night and/or weekend shifts.

    Accountant

    Job Summary:

    • We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying financial transactions. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy and effectiveness in all accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
    • Oversee and manage general ledger accounting functions, including reconciliations and month-end/year-end closing processes.
    • Analyze financial information and summarize financial status for management.
    • Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
    • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
    • Prepare tax returns and ensure timely submission to relevant authorities.
    • Support external and internal audit processes.
    • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
    • Supervise and provide guidance to junior accounting staff.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and transparency.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
    • Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is an advantage.
    • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior role.
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
    • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
